1996 Ford F-150 XL - 2wd - 300 inline 6 - 5 speed manual

Short-bed :  6. 5 foot box

Built at the Michigan truck plant and then to Texas - until 2005
Brought to Eau Claire. WI in 2005 - garaged every winter until 2013 - only 10. 00 miles put on from 2005 to 2013

I have owned this truck for 3. 5 years and have put over 25. 00 miles on it
The truck is as very clean and straight. Note the clean rockers. bedsides. front quarter panels. doors and cab corners.

Everything works on the truck as it should except cruise control.
After market Alpline CD player with removable face plate.
Nice cold A/C and great heater.
All lights work inside and outside of the truck.
The truck is the base model XL with manual windows. locks. and a rubber floor mat. It has a bench seat (out of a 1986 Ford F-150) with a genuine sheepskin seat cover. very soft and comfortable. There is a plastic bed liner and rubber bed mat in the bed. The vinyl tonneau cover is in good condition.
The truck starts. runs. drives and stops great.
The truck has a stage 3 hidden hitch

Both fuel tanks work properly

This is a nice looking truck and a fraction of the price of a new truck. You will be hard pressed to find such a nice. clean truck in this part of the country.   This truck is not perfect. but a clean and reliable truck that looks good.

Note – I have had a full-size 4-wheeler in the bed and the tailgate closes.

- I have a rear shackle replacement kit that goes with the truck. but have not installed them. Rear shackles have rust. but are intact.

- There is some play in the steering. The wheel has about an inch of play either way. I have not looked into this much. but would consider possibly the idler arm or steering gear box. Not uncommon for the I-beam front end and the mileage. but something to note.

No trades. I just purchased a family car and can't keep my beloved truck.
