Selling my 1970 Camaro SS/RS. This is a true SS/RS Camaro that is in absolutely incredible shape. Has all its original sheet metal that has never been replaced. bondo'd. etc. Doesn't have one speck of rust anywhere on this car. Always been as southern car that spent most of its time in Mississippi. I have been all through this car and its truly a straight. rust free car.

Exterior: it's had only one repaint about 6 years ago and its original color white with the black rear valance. All the lines are perfect. Paint is a super nice driver quality still shines great and has zero dings dents. etc. all panels are original and perfect. I'm a very picky person. so what I tell you probably isn't as bad as what you would think. but If I'm picking it apart it has one spot on the top of the driver's side fender that's just a little dull due to buffing a little too deep. It's about the size of your palm. Paint in the door jams looks like a factory job. not slick like you would see on a show car. Bottom brushed trim pieces are original and in great shape. but not new. still fit great just aged. Chrome on the car (bumpers) are original. straight and untouched. Great condition considering the age. All the trim on the car is original and in great shape. All the glass is original to the car. Only thing I can't confirm is the rear spoiler…. I know they only used the short spoilers early in the production. and based on the date of the car. I'd say it should be the large spoiler by a few months (not positive as it very well could be the correct spoiler). The wheels and tires (only thing exterior wise that isn't original) are 20x10 rear and 18x8 front Coys with new tires and belltech lowering springs in the front.

Interior: Went back original with the interior color. style. etc. It came with the deluxe interior and I went back with the same interior. Saddlewood. New carpet. seats. dash. Everything else is original equipment (minus the speedo. as I had to use the 130mph sweep due to the LS motor). I still have the original 150mph speedo. and I installed a stereo system. I also added the Gen 4 Vintage air. as this car was an original non-air car. I still have the original non-air dash. It still has the original headliner that is in good shape. Now. going back to my pickiness. the only thing I don't like as far as quality is the aftermarket (OEM) dashes. They just aren't as good as the original stuff. Looks good. but just not original. All gauges. lighting. etc. work as they should. I have a picture of when I bought it with the original interior still in the car. which is where I found the build sheet. As you can see in the build sheet. this is a SUPER rare car as it's an original SS/RS 396 car that was ordered with high options. but no console and automatic shift on the column. I've actually never seen one myself and didn't believe it until I found the build sheet.

Engine: When I got the car. it had an original style L34 396 in the car (I have a picture of it). but after running the numbers. everything was correct except for the block. It was a correct dated block. but was a manufacturer's warranty block. therefore couldn't prove it was original replacement to the car. This is when I decided to convert to a LS fuel injection set up. I put a 2003 LQ9 6. 0L with 75K miles out of an escalade. and added a 4L70 transmission with 45K miles. I put a LS1 intake on it. with a late model Camaro drive set up. Dual electric fans. air. Power steering. etc. A lot of power and great cruising capability (including MPG's). Magnaflow dual exhaust. new tank with fuel pump. original posi rear-end 3:31 gears. I want you to know. I didn't drill one hole in this car. Everything I did was professional and done where it can be pulled and drop a 396 back in with no modifications. I went to great lengths not to do anything to this car that couldn't be reversed and put original (minus shortening the drive shaft). Used original radiator. trans mount bracket. engine mounting holes. etc. I still have the heating ducts. controls. washer reservoir. etc. Very smooth running car!!! I have done quite a few of these conversions on trucks and cars. so everything has been done exceptionally clean and right.

Overall. this car is in incredible original condition with one repaint. interior freshened up. and not even one rust spot in the floorboard or anywhere on this car. It had to have been stored inside its entire life and out of the elements. Air blows cold. heat is hot. and is ready to drive anywhere. Also. failed to mention. this car has had disc put on the front as I didn't see that on the build sheet. Bid with confidence and feel free to email me any questions you may have and I will answer.
