2008 Chevrolet Tahoe

This is a loaded 2008 Chevy Tahoe LTZ 4x4. nbsp;that I am the 2nd owner of.   It was a lease turn in that I purchased certified pre-owned in 2010 with 44. 00 miles.   When I bought it. it appeared the passenger seats had rarely been used.   This continued under my ownership. as I mostly used it solo.   I have no kids. nbsp;the 2nd and 3rd row are mint.   The second row is the much desired full bench. not 2 captain's chairs.   The 3rd row has been in my garage 99% of the past 6+ years I've owned this truck. so it's like new.  My Tahoe is super clean. has every option (I believe) that was available at the time and is in tip top mechanical condition.  My family owns a car wash and quick lube. so if anything the maintenance intervals have been less than recommended.  I had the stock 20 inch aluminum wheels powder coated black 3 years ago.   It has a 2 inch leveling kit so as to eliminate the dust buster effect of the rear being higher than the front.   The side trim and all the badging was removed as well as all the chrome swapped out for black to get that clean monochrome look.   The running boards were removed because I found they only collected dirt and detracted from the overall look of the vehicle.   I believe I still may have them in my warehouse. so if you really want them. I will go looking for them (no promises).   All the glass is good. all rear windows have deep tint. The interior is black leather with 3 rows of seats and a power moon roof.   It also has factory remote start that turns on the front seat heaters when it's cold.   It also has rear audio and climate controls.   This Tahoe only has 89. 72 miles. It has the top of the line stock stereo/navigation system/backup camera with rear seat DVD screen as well as factory remote start. The stereo will play CDs and DVDs plus it has an auxiliary input and SiriusXM satellite radio.   The interior is very clean. with no damage except as noted on the dashboard. The engine is a 5. 3 Liter Vortec - oil has been changed every 3000 miles or less. Automatic overdrive transmission has been flushed at least twice since I bought it in 2010.  The Tahoe comes with a factory hitch/trailering set up.   I towed maybe 5 times with it.   I bought this car with a clean Carfax. but found out as a result of listing it for sale here that there was a very minor accident that was reported late (after I bought it).   I never had an accident and because I had a clean Carfax. I assumed it was clean. lesson learned.   I still have the printed copy of the Carfax from November 2010 and the accident that apparently occurred in February of 2010 is not shown.   According to my contacts in the car business and law enforcement. this is not unusual.   All evidence points to the fact this was a minor accident involving little or no damage to my truck.   That is why the sole report was from law enforcement and why it showed up so late.   

This Tahoe is has been intermittently garage kept and has never been smoked in. This super nice ride needs a new owner and would be a great Uber or Lyft car. if you are looking to do that sort of thing. Email with any questions. The vehicle is available for inspection 7 days per week at the aforementioned Car Wash & Quick Lube - just set up a time to come see it.   I am not desperate to sell this truck. I just rarely use it and have a 2017 GMC Sierra Crew Cab on order to replace my current pick up.   I know I'll use this Tahoe even less when that comes in.   I hate to see it sit around. but have a lot of contacts in the car industry and I know that 2008 Tahoes wholesale all day with less options and more miles (130K+) at the Manheim Auctions (and others) for nearly $15k.   So if you were hoping to steal it for less. keep looking.   This truck is worth $17k+ bone stock and more worn according to KBB. com and other sites.    Dealers are selling 2008 Tahoes like this one for $20K+ and making additional money holding back points on the on the interest rate/financing etc.   Save yourself money and aggravation buying direct from someone who truly cared about this vehicle and took great care of it.   No trades . . . well maybe if you have a super clean or custom 1969-72 K5 Blazer or Jimmy. but nothing else.

One other note about road salt.   I own a commercial snow removal business and am well aware of the harsh effects road salt has on vehicles in this area.   My plow trucks and salters get eaten alive by it.   My personal vehicles never see the road during or immediately after a storm for this reason.   Even if. for some strange reason. they did; they're right at the family car wash immediately after.   You won't find an SUV in this area with less rust/corrosion.

Update:  As a result of someone coming to inspect the truck with their mechanic. I have made a few fairly minor repairs to be sure this truck is in tip top condition.   This week the ambient temperature sensor for the air conditioning was replaced to correct a recent intermittent problem.   I also had the harmonic balancer and serpentine belt replaced out of an abundance of caution.   Finally the entire truck was gone over and nearly everything was checked by my mechanic.   This is obviously a used vehicle. but you'd be hard pressed to find one in better condition.

Terms of sale:  This Tahoe is being sold As-is.   The seller asserts no guarantees on this vehicle.   Vehicle is available for inspection and it is recommended it be inspected prior to the close of the auction if you have any concerns.   The winning bidder should contact me within 24 hours of the auction's end. If you cannot pick up the SUV right away send a $500. 00 deposit within 24 hours of auction end and make arrangements to pick up the SUV or have it shipped ASAP. I would like the SUV picked up within 7 days.   Seller reserves the right to sell the vehicle by other means and cancel this auction with no warning.   A sale to a different party may be made up until the time a deposit is received. at which time the vehicle will be held for 3 days.   After 3 days. if the vehicle is not paid for in full. the seller reserves the right to keep the deposit and sell the vehicle to another party.   If more time is needed than 3 days. it may be permitted on a case by case basis and if so must be agreed to in writing (via email) by both parties prior to the forfeiture of the deposit on day 4 following the auction's end.
