2 years/1400 miles since total rebuild
Ground up re-build of left hand drive car -virtually everything re-built or replaced
 
Full bare metal re-spray including panel replacement where necessary.
Rebuilt Nord engine- new pistons. liners. rings. all bearings. alves. valve guides. ater pump – now done 1400 miles
Rebuilt weber dcoe 40's
Rebuilt gearbox
Rebuilt brakes. new pads. pipes. servo. master cylinder.
Recon radiator. br>New clutch. master and slave cylinders
New window seals all round.
New front grille. four headlights. all badges
New headlining and carpets.
New fuel tank
Tax exempt. MOT till March 2014 but new one obtained if required.

Completely standard except for braided hoses. Bilstein gas shocks. competition manifold and Piper Cross air filter (original air filter box supplied if wanted)

Number plate box and stainless steel allen screws for bumper mountings included it you prefer the more agressive de-bumpered look

All box sections and voids fully rustproofed/ wax injected. underside stonechip protected and all welded seams sealed with body seam sealant

All welding work properly butt welded or complete panels replaced- no bodged patchwork of plates/filler- it looks as good underneath as it does on top!

 

Drives and handles like a new car.

 

I am open to sensible offers/ negotiation by potential buyers who come and view the car in Heathfield. nbsp;East Sussex. Southern England.

BERTONE BUYERS WARNING
If you are looking to buy one of these cars for less than £10k. you are either a competent mechanic and able to do major welding/bodywork or a fool with very deep pockets. These cars RUST and I mean RUST REALLY BADLY. This shell. being imported. as one of the best I've ever seen- minimal repair work was needed- it still has it's original sills and floors!
