1951 Packard Patrician

Up for sale is a well maintained 51 Packard Patrician 400.  In 1951 the Patrician 400 was the top of the line 4 door sedan. a senior car.  This particular car was purchased by me from the widowof the owner.  The car came from the state of PA and is an original car.  According to the family. the father purchased the car many years ago from the original owner.  This car was always garagedand was always serviced on a regular basis.
I purchased the car in April 2016 via Hemmings and had it shipped to Arizona.  After inspecting the car I had the following repairs completed on the car.
1. Complete brake repair (Kanter Parts). new master cylinder. wheel cylinders. shoes. brake lines and hydraulic hoses.  A new stop light switch was also replaced. 2. Replace gas tank (Kanter Parts) including sending unit. 3. The generator was rebuilt. 4. Radiator cleaned and repaired. Radiator hoses replaced. anti-freeze replaced. 5. New Optima 6 volt battery with cut-off switch. Battery sits in a battery box designed to look like the original 50's batteries. 6. Changed engine oil and filter. 7. Installed a shut-off switch for the electric fuel pump. 8. Drained and replaced trans fluid. rear end fluids and replaced the trans pan gasket. 9. Front end inspected by Jack's Auto Alignment. no problems. front end is in very good condition. 10. Tires replaced with Coker steel belted radials with 3 inch white walls. 11. Had the front seat bottom re-upholstered using correct wool material from SMS.
This car drives excellent and moves the car with no problems.  The exterior is the original paint. as is the chrome. some of the chrome has been replaced. The trans shifts correctly.  The interior isvery beautiful and shows the care taken by the owners.  As far as mileage. the 36K certainly shows to be correct by the condition of the car. All gauges work. power antenna and radio also work.
