1963 Buick Skylark Convertible with Original Numbers matching Engine. transmission and rear end. All Aluminum 215 cubic inch 200 HP V-8 with a factory Borg Warner Super -10 four speed transmission and leather interior. Restoration started with a 99% rust free car. There is NO body filler on this car anywhere! I have about 500 pictures showing the restoration and the half dozen small rust spots that were repaired with metal. Taken completely apart. all seam sealer was removed and replaced. every rubber component on car was replaced. the entire front end was rebuilt from top to bottom including shocks. new brakes all around including drums. hoes. lines and wheel cylinders. 5 new radial tires were also put on as well. The hydraulic pump for the top was replaced and a new top installed. The interior is original and flawless as you can see from the pictures. Exhaust is new and has that nice V-8 sound! The undercarriage of this car is spotless and rust free as well. Only 880 skylarks were made with 4 speeds and this one is done and ready to go. The car is completely stock front to back with the exception of a few chrome pieces which I took off to get a sportier look (the chrome does come with the car if you want to go back to completely bone stock). She goes down the road straight as an arrow. brakes work like they should. all gauges and lights work as they should. The only real issues is the radio does not work. I stupidly put a small ding in the hood (you have to look real close to find it) and the windshield has a small chip that is not in your line of vision. I have the original carburetor which was rebuilt by Baldwin Performance but it is not on the car (has an Edelebrock which works fine) and is included in the purchase along with any spare parts I have acquired over the past 2 years. Ready to go for spring.
