Austin 1931 Heavy 12/4 Open Road Tourer for sale

Owned by me for the past 9 years. during which time  I have carried out work that includes renewal of gearbox bearings. new clutch. new wheel bearings. new radiator core. rechromed radiator surround. new interior trim. rebuilt dynamo. I have also fitted indicators for safety reasons. and have available a towing bracket that I fabricated. although my plans to use the car to tow a small trailer carrying a vintage motor cycle to shows never actually came to anything! The car starts and runs well. with no steering wander. The engine doesn't smoke or burn oil. It has a current MOT certificate. although this is no longer a requirement. Not many "Open Road" models seem to have survived. so it is quite a rarity. compared to the saloon varieties of the Heavy Twelve. Please contact me if you need any further information.

Hi,its a bit of a long shot but I think my dad bought the Austin from you with the deal of a bsa motorcycle,he’s recently passed away,we (his children)have the car in storage and do intend to sell but we have no understanding of even how to start the Austin and been told the engine is seized,is there any history of the car you can forward on and would you no anyone that maybe could get it driving again

Lovely car. Do you have all receipts etc. for work undertaken and previous histroy? Also, can I ask why selling? I am looking for a good runner, so needs to be mechanically sound. Any issues there?
