1982 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Indy 500 Pace Car. Overall clean driver quality car that needs some minor work. Correct 305 injected V8. Auto. AC. PS. PB. -Tops. Power Windows and working R12 Air Conditioning.    PLEASE READ ENTIRE LISTING

First the bad. nbsp;The car is losing coolant. it is not leaking anywhere visible. no water in the oil or transmission. runs excellent no miss or power loss. I suspect a bad head gasket.   Minor paint issues on drivers mirror. around windshield and rear spoiler.

Car runs and drives great has new carpet. nbsp; New heater Core (copper) . New starter. New hood insulation. New Graphics kit.  like new tires. Mileage is unknown due to gauge cluster odometer swap in past.  

Exterior : Overall the Paint is shiny and in good condition. It has been repainted at some point in its life. There are some paint issues to mention. It does have some minor paint loss on the drivers mirror and rear spoiler (pictured) there are also some marks around the windshield (also pictured) and the lower edge of front spoiler has paint wear (also pictured).  Two or three small bubbles on hood.  There is one small quarter sized ding on the passenger front fender. Most of these are fixable by any paint shop. I have a brand new set of Pace Car Decals from Phoenix Graphics ($210) with Indy 500 door Decals. Pillar wings and CAMARO for the front and back windows that will be included with purchase. I also have new replacement outer window seals that will be included.  

Interior: Brand new carpet. Floors are rock solid. when I replaced the carpet the minor surface rust was cleaned. treated and coated. Only the front compartment carpet was changed. back is original. Seats are original and in beautiful condition. Door panels are in good condition. Silver vinyl is nice. arm rests are serviceable. lower section blue carpet could be re-dyed. drivers side lower front section has some damage to the hardy board (pictured). Headliner is out of a later model and is more gray than blue. has a mark above the rear seating area and needs the overhead light fixture hole resized for larger 82 light. but its there and serviceable. One rear plastic trim panel has paint flaking off it (pictured) Sun visors are original and serviceable but the inner cardboard is very weak. Dash has the normal drivers corner chunk missing and two small cracks at speakers. Stereo works. Power windows work. When I bought the car it had a later model 140 MPH speedometer. nbsp; the only thing that worked was the tach and speedo. I purchased a correct dual needle 85 MPH gauge cluster it is not installed.

Engine: As stated above the engine is losing coolant. it is not leaking anywhere visible. no water in the oil or transmission. runs excellent no miss or power loss so its not going into a cylinder. nbsp;I suspect a bad head gasket.  Engine compartment is driver clean  and everything that's supposed to be there is there.  

OTHER: Correct 82 Pace Car Z28 wheels. nice tires. Runs. Handles and rides great.  T-Top. Hatch and door seals all look good. nbsp; new outer door window sweeps included. I haven't had it out in bad weather.  Car Cover and Factory GM T-Top bag included. Headlights Lights. turn signals and break lights work. Exhaust has a patch and will need replacing at some point in the future. Fan blower motor makes a little noise.

I have listed all I can think of good and bad. I am sure there is something I have forgotten. Please ask questions before bidding. overall this is a very nice presentable. fun to drive collectable.
