A beautiful example of the famous Triumph "Bergerac" Roadster finished in old English white. This is the 1800cc model and it has been adapted to floor change. making driving much more enjoyable. Only available because her owner had too many cars. this proud old girl drives
superbly and comes with the correct spec dicky seat arrangement. This allows two passengers to sit in "the boot" with a windscreen in front
of them. She has excellent panel and paint work and great chrome. To say she cuts an imposing figure on the open road would be something of a gross under-statement! Her hood is in top order too. as is the interior and the wooden dash. These Roadsters were made immediately after the war. although production ended in 1949. There are believed to be around 500 survivors  from the original 4000 or so manufactured. This model has the earlier 1778cc engine which Standard-Triumph had built before the war for the 1. 5 litre Jaguar range. It's the car's second engine and is the correct spec for the model. having originally been supplied to a Jaguar. This is a delightful period piece and fully deserving of a loving home. She wants for nothing and is ready to motor! So quintessentially English. the Triumph Roadster is a throw back to the days of "class-driven motoring" meaning that you would have to have been fairly well off to be seen in such an open topped post-war tourer during the austere era of immediate post-war Britain.
