Marcos 1970 3ltr steel chassis classic car for sale

1970 marcos 3 litre gt.  steel chassis it has done 46. 00 miles 11months mot. no tax but it a historic vehicle so foc. This car has spent a lot off its later years in storage. It was restored from the ground up by myself at rondor repaints.  Have all the build photos. The trim is orginal and very basic 1970's  leatherette.  It has wolf race wheels fitted but for the Puritans out there I have a set off 5 Marcus wheels(very rare to get hold off). The engine is a ford Essex v6 3 litre with fireballed cams. The gearbox is a ford 4 speed with overdrive rear axle also ford. Front suspension and steering rack is triumph gt6 vitesse etc. exhaust is handmade by sportex(sounds awesome). this is a factory built Marcus and as a build date underneath petrol tank and trim date inside by back window(1969). Car is on the Marcus register. Although tyres on Marcus look brand new they are around 20 years old and have flat spots on them plus cracking on side walls. Hence a new set tyres required. The chassis and bodywork are mint. I personally don't think you will find a nicer bodied Marcus anywhere. If interior was retrimmed in leather the car would be concourse.
