A superb example of an early face-lift XJS in the best colour combination of metallic flamenco red and cream leather interior. The service and MOT history bear out the very low mileage (she is in light use so this may increase a little). Mechanically. bodily and interior-wise this is a really lovely car and potential buyers are encouraged to come and see her. The only faults I am aware of are that the driver's electric window has very recently packed up (very common issue - replacement motor around £55); the oil pressure sender is rather temperamental (again. a common problem - the relevant photo was taken when it was in a good mood!); the door mirrors need adjusting; the recent MOT advised of slight play in the front wheel bearings; and the alloys could do with a refurb (about £300). The car is priced to reflect these points. As you'd expect. the engine and gearbox are very smooth and she drives exactly as one of these great cars should. She has had over £4. 00 spent on her over the last couple of years to get her into tip-top condition. the most recent work being a service at Jaguar specialist Abbott Racing three months ago. I have tried to describe her "warts and all" - she is after all nearly 22 years old - but I don't think you'll find a better or more useable example easy to find at anything like this price.
