Message This all wheel drive BMW came to us in very poor condition.   Over the past 6 months we have repaired and reconditioned it into like new condition.   We are so confident with its' road-worthiness that we will be selling this car with a 1 year nationwide powertrain warranty INCLUDED!  The list of repairs and improvements is quite extensive and highlights necessary repairs as well as future repairs that would have been necessary in the future as well as tasteful upgrades to the performance and overall aesthetics of the vehicle.   We started by sending it through the shop for a complete checkout for necessary items and a complete check of any and all fault codes in the DME.   We began our repairs by replacing the oil separator (common BMW failure) while replacing the VANOS oil line and oil filter housing gasket as preventative based on common future failures on this vehicle.   We replaced the oil level sensor which was giving an incorrect amber oil light on the dash (also common failure). and rounded out the engine work by replacing all breather hoses. the intake manifold runner valve assembly. cleaning the idle speed control valve. both drive belts. the washer pump and grommet and performed a complete synthetic oil and filter change.   To the outside of the vehicle we went and replaced all 4 sets of brake pads and rotors. the caliper boots and hardware. and all lining sensors.   We then replaced both rear coil springs. lower control arms with ball joints. one tie rod assembly. both lower control arm thrust bushings. both front axles and both front sway bar links.   We then flushed the front. rear and transfer case fluids as well as the transmission fluid using all high quality BG additives and synthetic fluids.   Flushed the brake and power steering fluids and finally installed 4 brand new Enkei gunmetal wheels and brand new tires.   Included with the sale are 4 additional OEM wheels with tires that would be perfect for winter tire installation and driving.   We then performed a 4 wheel alignment and detailed the vehicle.   As with all used vehicles there are some scratches and dings here and there - as you can see from the pictures. there are very minor rust bubbles on the right rear quarter panel. some minor paint fade on the top of the front bumper. minor paint peel on the rear bumper and slight sag on the rear of the headliner and a couple pillars overall very well presentable vehicle.   There are no disappointments at all. As you can see. the car has been VERY well serviced. do not let the miles scare you. We are BMW master technicians and have taken all the mystery out of buying an older 3 series. All electronics work flawlessly including the hill decent control and traction control. The all wheel drive powertrain makes this car flawless in the poor weather and sticks to the road very well. Be confident in your purchase. we are. Take advantage of the 1 year powertrain warranty included with purchase and feel free to extend that warranty at a minimal cost if you wish.
