I am selling my very rare 1968 tin top Kombi. I have decided to go in another direction for my weekend cruiser. this Kombi would be described as a cool ratty cruiser that would drive anywhere and be appreciated as is. This very cool machine is far from perfect. but so is the reserve price. Ready to go!

The Good- rebuilt 1641cc engine with new bearings and new Mahle piston and barrels. new clutch kit fitted. and new fuel lines. leads etc. near new tyres and rims (see pics). these suit the bus. Front beam has adjusters. also front floors have been replaced with heavy duty sections from Just Kampers (by myself and treated)

The not so Good- paint is fair condition. roof looks to be sprayed over with some runs (not by me). interior needs work. but as a ratty bus it's an open canvas to personalise. Rust there is small spots of previous repairs in the lower sections. mainly the front clip. can be sourced if bus was to be restored. fuel gauge doesn't work. needs new sender unit. also the Engine needs a tune up. as it is fitted with Dual 34 Pict Empi Carbs. which are known to be not so good to tune. Starts every time first go!

Bus is on Historical Rego. so selling unregistered
