THIS GORGEOUS CLASSIC MUSCLE CAR WAS PURCHASED FROM THE DAUGHTER OF THE ORIGINAL OWNER. WHEN I BOUGHT THIS CAR. IT WAS STORED IN A BARN WITH ONLY 500 MILES PUT ON IT IN THE PREVIOUS 3 ½ YEARS. THE CAR HAS 82K TOTAL MILES. THAT'S AROUND 1800 MILES PER YEAR ON AVERAGE. ALL THAT I DID WAS WASH THE DUST OFF AND USED A LITTLE ARMOUR ALL TO MAKE HER SHINE.

SHE STARTS UP. RUNS STRONG. IS VERY FAST. DRIVES AND SHIFTS BEAUTIFULLY. THIS CAR IS MECHANICALLY SOUND AND TROUBLE FREE AND SOUNDS AWESOME. THERE ARE NO FUNNY NOISES. NO ENGINE NOISES. NO SMOKE. NO RATTLES. WOBBLES OR WANDERING. AND AS OF THIS WRITING. NO LEAKS.   SHE HAS PERFECT ALIGNMENT. HOLDING A SMOOTH STRAIGHT LINE DOWN THE HIGHWAY AND STOPS STRAIGHT AND SURE.

THE INTERIOR IS UNBELIEVABLE! THE UNDER-CARRIAGE. FLOOR PANS AND TRUNK PAN ARE RUST FREE AND TOTALLY SOLID.   THE WINDSHIELD HAS A CRACK IN THE UPPER LEFT CORNER. ALL OTHER GLASS IS GREAT. ALL HANDLES. CRANKS AND KNOBS ARE PRESENT. THE PACKAGE TRAY IS SOLID. STRAIGHT AND ONLY SHOWS NORMAL WEAR. THE STAINLESS AND CHROME ARE SPECTACULAR WITH NO PITTING OR DENTS ANYWHERE. INSIDE OR OUT. THE FRONT AND REAR BUMPERS HAVE A BEAUTIFUL MIRROR LIKE FINISH.

THE PAINT HAS A VERY NICE SHINY FINISH. THE REAR DECK LID FINISH APPEARS A BIT THIN BUT STILL SHINES AND THE SIDES LOOK AS THOUGH THEY WERE REPAINTED AT SOME POINT. THERE IS A ROUND. QUARTER SIZED SPOT OF A PAINT BLEMISH ON THE DRIVERS SIDE REAR QUARTER PANEL JUST BEHIND THE REAR WHEEL AT THE VERY BOTTOM. UPON VERY CLOSE INSPECTION YOU CAN FIND VERY SMALL CHIPS THAT HAVE BEEN TOUCHED UP HERE AND THERE BUT ARE VERY HARD TO SEE.

THE PANEL FIT. SEAMS AND BODY LINES ARE EXTRAORDINARY. ALL WINDOW FELTS AND DOOR RUBBER IS EXCELLENT. THE DOORS SHUT EFFORTLESSLY.

THE OLDS 442 WAS ITS OWN MODEL IN 1968 LASTING THRU 1971. THE 1968 MODEL WAS ALSO THE FIRST YEAR OF THIS BODY STYLE. THE FIRST YEAR FOR SIDE MARKER LIGHTS AND THE LAST YEAR FOR SIDE VENT WINDOWS.

 THIS CLASSIC ISN'T A TRAILER QUEEN. NOR IS IT PERFECT. REMEMBER THIS IS A 45 YEAR OLD CAR. BUT YOU WOULD NEVER KNOW BY LOOKING AT IT. YOU CAN TINKER WITH IT AND MAKE IT AS CLOSE TO PERFECT AS YOU CARE TO.   IT SHOWS THAT IT WAS WELL CARED FOR BUT IT WAS ALSO DRIVEN AND ENJOYED.

All Ownership. Insurance and/or Liabilities associated with the operation and/or maintenance will be transferred directly from the seller to the buyer at the time financial payment is remitted in full.  

Buyer also agrees that buyer has conducted all desired inspections of the vehicle (including title history and mechanical / cosmetic inspections) before agreeing to purchase this vehicle by private party and desires to purchase this vehicle with or without such knowledge of such history and/or inspections.

Buyer further agrees and acknowledges that Seller has made no representation regarding the vehicle except those representations that are made in writing and signed / agreed upon between buyer and seller.   Buyer further understands that seller shall not be responsible in any way. for claims of any kind arising from the vehicle defects. whether or not obvious at the time of sale.

Payment Methods

Cash (in person) or a bank wire transfer.   Neither the vehicle nor the title will be released until all funds have cleared.

Title
The title is free and clear and will be presented to the buyer after all financial transactions have been completed.

Warranty
The vehicle is being sold AS-IS.   AS-IS is here defined as having no warranty stated. implied or otherwise expressed in any way. shape or form. The buyer assumes all and total responsibility for all or any defects known or unknown. apparent or non-apparent with this vehicle. Such defects are not limited to any area. system or part of the vehicle. but include the entire vehicle and all or any of its parts. systems or areas associated with it in all or any way. I have done my best to represent this vehicle as it appears. however. the seller is not responsible for. does not guarantee or warranty the correctness of this listing. the information contained within it. or any comments/responses to questions made about the vehicle listed. whether in verbal or written form. Deposit & Payment of Remaining Balance

Buyer pays a non-refundable 25% down payment within 72 hours of end of auction.   This payment is required for the costs. time and loss of potential buyers associated with the auction should the sale not be completed.   The remaining balance due must be paid within five (5) business days of the close of the auction. The vehicle will not be delivered until all financial transactions have been completed.

If the winning bidder either fails to pay the 25% down payment within seventy-two (72) hours of the auction close. or does not pay the remaining balance within the five (5) business day period. the seller has the right to refuse the sale and any payment to the seller will not be returned to the buyer.   If the buyer decides after agreeing to purchase the vehicle that he or she does no longer wants the vehicle. no refund of any kind will be issued.

Shipping
I will gladly assist the buyer with the shipping of his or her vehicle. but this is ultimately the responsibility of the buyer. The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges.

Inspection
I fully welcome a buyer's private inspection. I will gladly show the car in person or assist any bidder who wishes to have a private party inspect the car but this must be done prior to auction ending. The buyer is responsible for any fees incurred.  

Notice to Bidders

Your bid represents a legally binding contract. Only bid if you fully agree to purchase this vehicle if you are the winner at the close of the auction and have the necessary funds securely in place. Please ask any and all questions that you may have and/or arrange to inspect the vehicle prior to placing a bid if you wish to do so. Once you have placed a bid. and if you win the vehicle. you are obligated to complete the purchase.

Seller reserves the right to cancel all bids and end the auction early should the vehicle no longer be available for sale. This car is being listed as a private auction format to reduce the amount of risk for the bidder.

If you win the auction. and did not inspect or have the car inspected prior to end of auction. the non-refundable deposit will be required before you see the car. This will eliminate anyone from ending my auction as high bidder only to “fly in” or show up to decide if they want the car or not.

I have been a member of the eBay community for 13 years and have learned to be very cautious. If you have any negative feedback. a habit of canceling bids. cancel a bid you placed on my auction and / or less than a score of 5 positive feedback comments you must contact me via eBay email prior to bidding to discuss your intentions. otherwise I may cancel your bid(s).
