A TRUE ONE-OF-A-KIND INVESTMENT! VERY RARE LINCOLN L-SERIES PICK UP TRUCK CONVERSION! RECENTLY RESTORED COSMETICALLY AND READY TO SHOW AND ENJOY! VERY SHARP! SPECIFICATIONS Year 1921 Make Lincoln L-Series Model Pickup VIN 960 Mileage Exempt Engine 358cid Cylinders V8 Transmission 3 Speed Title Clear Color Burgundy / Black Interior Color Black DESCRIPTION Soon after World War I. Lincoln Motor Company retired their war efforts building Liberty airplane engines and began producing luxury automobiles. known as the L-Series. They were produced from late-1918 through 1922 before bankruptcy ensued and Ford Motor Company stepped in to take over. Lincoln's founder. Henry Leland. had stepped on a few toes during his illustrious career in the automotive industry. and had participated in engine designs for Oldsmobile. the creation in Cadillac Motor Company. and had several engineering successes before his death in 1932 at the age of 89 years old.

We are extremely excited to offer one of Mr. Leland's last personal successes with a 1921 Lincoln L-series vehicle that was later converted to a pickup sometime in the 1930's. These extremely rare vehicles almost never make their way to the open market and this one wears chassis #960. now considered the second oldest example known! Records indicate this vehicle did begin as a sedan when new and was later converted to a conventional truck which was relatively common for both private individuals and automotive dealerships to be used in a more functional manner. This Lincoln was stored on display for nearly 40 years in the Museum of Cars & History based in Sarasota. Florida in the middle 1960's before ownership of the museum changed hands selling much of the display cars. and it landed in the hands of a private collector from Indiana for the last 13 years.

This example is finished in Maroon with Black fenders along with Black interior and matching padded vinyl roof. It still features its correct 358ci V8 engine that produces 81 horsepower mated 3-speed manual transmission all mounted to its original chassis. Options include wood spoke wheels fitted with Firestone 33x5" tires. electric starter. dual cowl lights. dash instrumentation. and a solid oak bed with convenient entry step! This car was just cosmetically restored in 2012 to include all new exterior paint. new interior & running board floor covering. and completely refinished oak wood bed! The results are superb! The only additional upgrades to the car during its last restoration in the 1960's were a 12-volt conversion and the addition of an electric fuel pump that continue to remain today. It runs and drives with ease. and is always a hit for onlookers who see it for the first time! Please feel free to call with additional questions. or to schedule an opportunity to see this truly one-of-a-kind investment firsthand. Thanks for looking!
