     Up for your bidding pleasure. on a true no reserve auction. is a gorgeous 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle.   First and foremost. I want to apologize about the pictures. The paint on this car is absolutely amazing and ultra reflective. That. combined with how cold it was and snow flurries on and off leads to some of the photos having snowflakes whirling around. some where flakes are on the car. and obviously with any excellent black paint job. tons of reflections. So as you scroll through the bottom of this listing and view the 180+ high resolution photos. keep in mind that ANY flaw you think you see is 99. 9% either snow or a reflection from the concrete. The paint and body on this car is as close to flawless as you will find!

     Now. on to the good stuff. Again. 1968 chevelle being offered here at no reserve. This black beauty is powered by a MONSTER 540 cubic inch merlin Big Block. and if that weren't enough for ya. its got a nice shiny blower peeking though the hood that just screams "don't mess with me"! Behind the blown 540 is a built TH-400 3 speed automatic trans with reverse manual valve body followed by a 12 bolt posi rear end with a 3. 43 gear. Every single component on this car was either rebuilt. restored. or replaced to extreme high end show quality standards. All new interior including upholstery. door panels. headliner. dash pad. carpet. etc etc. The list is never ending. and I have a 1 inch think stack of papers and receipts detailing the build. Other notable features include wildwood power disc brakes. drilled and slotted rotors. tubular upper and lower control arms. hotchkins sway bar. rear boxed adjustable trailing arms. dual side exhaust (sounds amazing and wickedly mean). completely detailed engine bay. spotless trunk. electric cooling fans. and soooo much more.

     The jet black paint looks outstanding and shows almost no signs of wear. It has been meticulously cared for and kept to appear soaking wet. The body is absolutely LASER straight with zero ripples. waves. orange peal. nbsp;or rust. All gaps are even. straight. and as perfect as you could ever want. The chrome and bright work is highly polished. free of any pitting. rust. scuffs. crease marks. or flaws. All glass and trim is in excellent condition as well. Guys. I can not stress this enough. This isn't your average garage restored muscle car that was built by a general hobbyist over a few years. This is a professionally built. highly detailed. nothing but the best type car meant to satisfy even the toughest to please. Nothing has gone overlooked. no corners were cut. and not a single aspect was done "just to get by". It has been driven sparingly and NEVER tracked or abused. Don't ask what it will run the 1/4 in because nobody has that answer for you. Don't ask how long it will do a burn out for. because it hasn't been tried. This car is far too nice to rag on. race. smoke the tires off. and twist in every direction.  That is why there is no cage. or giant pro street rear tires. Please. if that is your intent. keep it to yourself and don't tell me about it.  

     This car runs and drives exceptionally well. and is truly a pleasure to be behind the wheel of. That being said. one must be very aware that this is a rocket ship and that blown 540ci monster merlin will do exactly what your foot tells it to. This is not a car for the faint of heart or those who dislike attention. I promise. everywhere you go. a crowd will form. Everybody will want to look at it. hear it. and take pictures of and with it. This car is not subtle by any means. When you pull into a show. gas station. hot dog stand. ice cream shop. your kids school. or the store parking lot. everyone will know your there. If you demand the best. crave attention. and want something that you don't have to do a single thing to. bid on this car.
