1976 TORANA HATCHBACK   Have a good look at photos!
This my hatchback im selling. Its been in my shed for 10 years untouched after having a cam problem in the 308 i had in it. It was last registered with a 308 and that block comes with it. Currently theres a 253 sitting in the engine bay not doing anything just sittimg there. With a trimatic gearbox attached. I spent three years working on this car every spare minute i had. Im a panel beater by trade. The body is rust free and pretty straight saving the buyer heaps of work. I drove this car for a few years so theres a few marks here and there but it in good condition.

I modified it to suit my taste. I dont have any original parts not shown in pictures. There is a spare bonnet without scoop and a plennem panel in primer. The black bonnet needs painting i just matt blacked it so i could drive it around. The bonnet hinges are not currently fitted due to fitting another motor. The 253 has no carb.   The rear tail light are very easily changed back to standard. When i cut the rust from rear end and everything was smooth i liked the look of it and painted as is and fitted round tail lights. Fitting the rust repair panal is a matter of marking out the rust repair section cutting and welding in the new section. Rare Spares sell this section. All wiring is just a matter of connecting to original lights.
I removed the id tags for paint and repair. I have a photo of them i will fit them again before pickup. It was a sl 6 cylinder factory tuxedo black in colour.
Straight orange tinter from lesonal 2 pac.  The roof has a sink back problem. a long story that brings back bad memories. Stupid boss open booth while i was spraying the shell and lots of dust settled on the roof. I cut it back and painted it again in anger. Hense i did not wipe prepsol off correctly and the paint sort of fish eyed. I drove it like it for ages and i forgot about it but a fussy buyer would respray it.   Every bush ball joint seal bearing etc that i could replace i did. New windscreen and rubber kit fitted. I think i have spare side windows. The current windows are painted on the inside and eurathaned in. Total black out.    I think it has king springs low. It has a hurst shifter custom chain steering wheel a few retro bit and bobs. An under dash air conditioner unit ready to pipe up. vdo guages push button starting. Custom seats front. Back seat is basically a flat board no padding so i could get it registered. 60mm bear fur as a head lining. No carpet (I liked it loud inside)    I am going overseas in a bit so buyer must pay and pick up before march 3 no negotiations.  Remember before you bid you must know that your bid potentially means you have bought it so think long and hard before bidding. Ive seen rubbish shells sell for 25000 so this is a bargin.   I LIVE IN LEETON NSW 7 HOURS WEST OF SYDNEY 5 HOURS NORTH OF MELBOURNE.   I suggest the buyer to bring a car trailer and ute because you can have any extras i have. Bars glass old lights heads etc.
