Look everywhere. inside arches etc. not a spot of rust. look down the sides. across the bonnet and boot. no dings or dent or scratches. amazing condition !!

Finished in Delphin Metallic Grey paintwork with shadow line trim. This colour really suits the E28 and on this cherished example the paintwork has an amazing deep all over shine. with no dings or dents yo really couldn't find a better looking E28. The bumper and window trims are also in excellent condition. everything is correct giving this car real show potential if required.

The interior is finished in Grey Anthracite Cloth with a Black dash. This again is in excellent condition. as new really as there are no marks are any real signs of wear. Everything is just as it should be. a real testament to how a well cared for car can look. This car could easily pass for just a couple of years old if sitting in a BMW showroom now.

This car comes with two sets of alloys. The original TRX alloys are in excellent shape and all come fitted with excellent tyres. These have been kept so they can be put on for any show work etc so the car is 100% original. The 'spare' wheels currently fitted are also BMW BBS alloys. fitted with nearly new matching tyres.

The specification on this car includes PAS. ABS. Electric windows. Electric mirrors. Sunroof. Original Blaupunkt stereo. Dealer fitted air conditioning that still clicks in. This is a E28 5 Series. the model is the 525e. This is a very popular model as although badged a 2. 5. these cars came with a 2. 7 straight six engine. The design was to give plenty of torque and smooth performance whilst returning very good fuel economy. The technology certainly worked and even in normal daily use you can get very good fuel economy from one of these.

This BMW has has 3 owners in total. The first being BMW themselves for the first two years. Then a director of a building company had it for 1 year. leaving the last careful owner who bought it from Cronk BMW in 1990 and looked after it for 23 years. In that time its been looked after by BMW main dealers and BMW specialists from new. Even in low use years this car has been fully serviced and checked over with plenty of cambelt / brake fluid / coolant / oil changes / gearbox oil changes to keep this example in perfect health.

The history file with this car is amazing. every service bill. every mot from new along with a fully stamped service book. all the manuals. all the keys. even a full set of brochures and sales invoice from when this car was purchased from the BMW main dealer.
