1970 LHD Jaguar E-Type 2+2 Coupe:

Very Original LHD -Matching Numbers-a rust free Import from West Coast. USA. Been my alternating daily driver for last 12-18months. LHD a joy to drive! Have a new project coming so Wife says this one has to go first !

Very reliable & strong mechanicals on this car. well maintained & serviced by leading Jaguar specialist on Central Coast. SW.

I imported & fitted these items from Classic Jaguar Texas to 'modernise' & maintain originality with reliability:

* Pertronix Classic Electric Distributor & Sports Coil. New plugs/ H. T. Leads fitted.

* Powder Coated Exhaust Headers 2x 3 into 1 with new pipes under car as well.

* Willwood 4 pot Performance Front Calipers / Stainless Steel lines front & rear.

* Solid Billet 1 piece Oil filter conversion kit & new Framm filter.

Servicing these items: 

New slotted performance front rotors. * Radiator / Fans & Otter switch were all renewed. as was the Petrol tank. * New Hose set was fitted for Radiator & heater. *Interior is above average for age. all original and all electrical switches/panel/lights etc work. (Except Clock!) Wire wheels excellent. * New Battery. *Paint is 7-8/10 with some minor blemishes & flaws from an older restoration. Will need some finer detailing to bring car up to Show level. but overall paint is quite good.

3 Speed Auto-Gearbox is tight & smooth but I will get it serviced this week at leading Transmission specialist on Coast. as part of this deal. Chrome is all complete & in solid original condition except for the Bumper bars. which will need rechroming.

**To finish it off & raise its value & appeal as an excellent car club level car it needs:( Wifey rejects more time & $$ being spent. ) *A new set of front shocks-Front left starting to show wear. *Air Con. parts included but off car. * Exhaust flexible piping after installation of Headers not as good as I'd like. so some improvement by a better installer will fix to 100%. All the expensive. hard work is done on this well presented car.

Priced well to allow you a fair margin to bring it up to top condition as a driving project for further detailing.
