1973 Carrera RSR Tribute based on a 1989 Carrera

Steel turbo flares on rear

Steel 930 front fenders trimmed and rewelded to RSR profile

Fiberglass hood. deck lid and front/rear valances

Factory 930 Fuch 16 inch wheels 7 and 9 inch width. media blasted for mat finish

Rear 245/50/16 new last summer. front 205/55/16 3 years old

H4 conversion headlights. factory rear 3rd brake light. European rear signal lens

Front end rebuild kit purchased and installed in summer 2016

Paint is very nice with typical small chips on hood/valance from usage. I just had the rear flairs repainted due to chips because I regularly take the car on 600 KM round trips. New vinyl Carrera RSR graphics last summer and wheel color matched and  professionally painted.   

Interior

RS door panels with pockets

Protipo steering  wheel . Coco mats. original leather power driver and passenger seats

Hinged rear side windows

Sunroof motor and cables replaced last summer.

Period 1989 Blaupunkt Cancun stereo. power mirrors/windows. leather seats and sunroof

Control module rebuilt 2 years ago. several  expensive relays replaced until I figured it out. Weltmeister chip added.

No cracks or chips in glass. windshield done 6 years ago.

Mechanical

Brakes. clutch. transmission. exhaust and engine all in excellent running condition. All four Bilstein shocks installed within last 2 years

Engine was out and torn down 3 years ago at approximately 140K. crank shaft replaced. valves. oil tubes etc done at the time but not the pistons or barrels which were in excellent shape.
