hi . I had the rare opportunity some years ago to buy this super rare ltd option galaxie hardtop . the car was taken off the road in the mid 70s and dry stored . it was rarely driven before storage and has only clocked up an unbelievable 23000 miles original . I bought it from the son who was in his 70s and had just left it where it sat after in heritance . It is mostly original paint and the interior is mint original untouched . mechanically it drives strong and tight without fault . it does not feel like a big car to drive . I have gone right thru the mechanicals thoroughly after so many years in storage . it has had a petrol tank flush . full tune up and carburettor stripped and cleaned . new wheel cylinders . the original riveted brake shoes are as new . I have had a factory type exhaust system fitted . mandrel bent . collector built and factory quiet . new shock absorbers . new tyres . new belts and hoses . air con works great . nil rust ever . razor straight needs nothing but club rego . I doubt theres many galaxies left globally like this . I mean why restore one when u can buy mint original for more info ring mark 043 428 6944
