Hello and welcome to the sale of my MGC Roadster. chassis no. GCN1U 3661G. This is a Southern California car that is rust free. It has had two owners from new and the speedo is showing 30360 whcih I was assured was genuine when I bought it from the USA. It seems correct given the condition of the floor mats and dash.

This is a very rare automatic car of which only some 350 were made. The car is bone dry underneath. The panel gaps are superb and 100% perfect as can be seem from the photos. It has been repainted at some point and looks good in the pictures but there are some faults like stone chips etc if you look closely. It has had new shockers all round. new discs and pads. new rear springs and a complete new stainless steel exhaust system. The rear springs have yet to settle. The engine bay is totally original as it left the factory with the exception of the recently replaced dual brake servos. All the chrome is in good conditon with little or no pitting to the original bumpers. as are the wire wheels and tyres.  The  windscreen glass looks nearly new and the frame is in good order although the bottom rubber is not sitting down correctly at the end of the right hand side. The auto gearbox changes smoothly. the engine sounds lovely with no untoward nosies and ticks over evenly at 25 lbs oil pressure and 40 lbs at normal running speeds. No over heating problems with this MGC which is a bit of a know fault for some cars. The inlet manifolding on these North American cars is a significant improvement to UK cars aand gives more power. The car is a delight to drive. The auto gearbox compliments the big 6 cylinder engine perfectly.

The interior still has its original and unique rubber floor mats with no sign of wear whatsoever and the drivers side mat shows no sign of any wear supporting the low mileage. The dash is absolutely perfect and undamaged with no splits or cracks. The seats have been recovered somewhat amateurishly but are comfortable to sit on. The hood which is the packaway type has clear rear windows and is a replacement and looks a bit cheapo!!

The MGC has just been UK MOT'd and taxed until August 2014 and is UK registered as YMO 509F. I have a copy of all the import documentation if needed. I'm just awaiting the log book to arrive from DVLA.

This MGC has the potential to be a superb car due to its body condition and orginality. Alternatively why not just drive and enjoy it as it is !!!

Please telephone 07811 462875 or 01256 476062 if you need any more information. Price is £9. 95 ovno. Thanks for looking.
