Hello Datsun people
I unfortunately am selling my super clean 1971 series one sunshine yellow 240z. It has the 2. 8 liter engine and 5 speed transmission from a 280z. There has been extensive maintenance and tasteful modifications to improve drive quality and reliability. I went through most of the car and checked and replaced all components as necessary and have done more things than I can remember to list. Read on for more details
It does not come with the polished enkeis. It comes with the 280zx turbo wheels. they turbo wheels do have the correct center caps on them. I will try and get a picture up. (its been raining lately)

First off: RUST- This car has near to none. It is the cleanest non-Restored Z cars I have owned. The extent of the rust is shown in the pictures. There is very minimal rust on the driver side rocker panel.
The body is in excellent shape for its age. I believe it had been garage kept majority of its life. The man I bought this car from owned it for about 5 years. and he bought it from the original owner. It was repainted at some point with the original paint color. I would say at least 15plus years ago minimum. The doors both open and close very nicely. Windows roll up and down fine. All the original metal badges are still on the car. body panels line up nicely. The hood was backed into by a trucked tow ball.
All of the exterior lights turn on. I spent a good deal of time going through making sure all the lighting functioned  correctly including. headlights. running lights. blinkers. hazards. dash lights. dome lamp. engine lamp etc.
Interior is overall clean and well put together. New rear carpet. High quality Re-finished steering wheel. new shift knob. aftermarket shift boot. Its has the Original ash tray. sun visor are very clean. rear view mirror is tight(usually have slop). I pressure tested the heater core and replaced all the hoses. heater fan work and blows warm air out of the defroster. I installed 280z seats. they are much more comfortable. don't sink. and have way more adjustability than stock while still maintaining the same OEM look.
New motor mounts. New transmission insulator. Poly transmission crossmember bushings. checked mustache bar bushing and they had been replaced(chose to leave rubber instead of poly for better ride comfort). checked all U-joints and re-greased half shafts. changed transmission fluid(redline). Replaced clutch. flywheel. clutch hose. clutch master and slave cylinder. release bearing. and pilot bushing within last 5K miles. adjusted valves. adjusted TPS (throttle position switch). replaced thermostat. fuel filter. air filter. Intake/exhaust manifold gasketI replaced the transmission and differential fluid both with RedLine
All four struts have been replaced with new. All bump stops replaced with polyurethane. New ball joints. Poly front and rear control arm bushings(including spindle pins). tension rod bushings(replaced with OEM rubber). poly steering rack bushing. poly steering coupler. poly sway bar end links. wheel bearings checked for play. The steering feels very precise. responsive. and smooth over bumps.
Brakes work great and didnt need too much attention. I installed new Brake Master cylinder. front right caliper. adjusted brake shoes and E-brake. and fresh brake fluid.

Other notes: Aftermarket fuel pump. don't remember brand. ALL Fuel lines replaced from the gas tank to the fuel filter. 15x6 turbo wheels with falken tires(plenty of tread)E-brake pulls tightReplaced muffler with aftermarketreplaced license plate lampreplaced coolantcar stays parked in GARAGEcar comes with straight spare primed hood if buyer wants it
The engine fires right up immediately.  idles smooth and drives very nicely. I used all the stock EFI equipment from the 280z to run the L28e swap. 5 speed transmission makes the car much quieter at cruising speed on the freeway. With all the work done this car has become a very fun and comfortable driver
The 16x7 polished enkei 92's can come with the car at an extra price if your interested in them.
