FLAMED 1940 FORD COUPE STREET ROD ALL STEEL AWESOME VEHICLE

This is a 1940 Ford coupe that a buddy asked me to list. He bought it from the owner of a local drag strip. This car is super sharp. The paint  is bright glossy red that looks like it was poured on the all steel body. The flames really accent the car - they are multi-colors and really  glow in the sunlight. Wheels are polished Billet Specialties with spinners and chrome covers under the wheels to hide the brake parts.   Running boards are smooth. All glass is new and tinted. The front suspension and steering is M2 with a arms and coil springs. The frame is  painted body color red and black. Engine is a 350 Chevy V-8 that has a lot of chrome and polished aluminum. Transmission is a Turbo 350.   The car has Vintage Air with heat and defrost - AC is very cold. It has power rack and pinion steering. power brakes with discs on front and  drums in the rear. tilt column. power windows. and a Sony AM/FM/CD stereo with four speakers and a remote. Gauges are Stewart Warner  wings. Upholstery is leather. Trunk has matching upholstery. Exterior. interior are all show quality. This is a super nice street rod that runs. drivers. rides and sounds awesome. If possible come and take a look. When I first saw this car I knew it was a high quality no expense spared street rod. Paint. trim and glass are excellent.

Note the louvers on the sides - engine has just about everything chrome or polished aluminum

Engine is a 350 Chevy small block with polished intake and lots of chrome.  

Engine has a mild hydraulic cam that makes the exhaust note just right

Louvers help to keep the engine compartment cool - never runs over 190 even in traffic

Carburetor is an Edelbrock with electric choke - hoses are for the AC

Grill - very sharp! You pull up on the grill emblem and then push a button to free the second hold down to open the hood - works great.

Billet Specialties wheels have spinners - all tires are Uniroyal Tiger Paws - fronts are P185X65X15 and rears are P215X70X15

40 taillights have chrome bezels

Blue dot taillights - note gas door - you push on it to open. remove gas cap and then push on door to close

Exhaust is under the bumper and hard to see from the back. There is a light under the pan that lights up the license plate.

Doors open and shut easily

Flames are the same on both sides

Flames seem to have movement

Body is slick; flames are under the clear coat
