1978 Toyota Land Cruiser

Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser 70. 44 original miles. all numbers match. Operates. runs. and drives perfectly as per manufacturer's specifications.  Starts up every time. just pull the choke and start her up.  No reserve on this sale. Everything works.  It is now only driven every couple of weeks.  The FJ40 is tight. nbsp;drive-lines are tight and perfect. There is no smog equipment on the vehicle.  The body is straight. some minor dings see pictures hard to see.  We do have some minor surface rust in the back seating area on the floor. (see pics)  
This Land Cruiser has been owned by the same owner since 1979; originally purchased in California.  The owner set it up for hunting and added the large 15. 00 Pound WARN winch on the front. (Cover and Manual come with winch)  The reason for this is that he often took it hunting alone and wanted the power and gear down ratio of the larger winch for better single person control.  
The vehicle has been kept on two large ranches one in Idaho and the other in California.  It has been in Idaho since 1999 and was just returned to the ranch in California two months ago.  The owner is now 80 and would like to sell the vehicle as is. note this vehicle has not been registered since 2000 and is not smog legal.  At this point the owner would like to sell as is. buyer would be responsible for registering in the state of purchase.  This vehicle is fun to drive and runs perfectly.  Also added a backup electric fuel pump and switch and a switch to turn off the horn when hunting.  Also included is a two rifle gun rack located between the front seats.  All original. interior and seats.  No rust straight body. again minor surface rust on the back floor see photos.  Looks like the carpet or cover got wet and was left alone. I removed it and it was stuck so a good cleaning and quick sand and paint will take care of this.  The exterior paint is in great shape. the exterior was repainted  complete sand down~2012 no body work has been done except paint. no rust  .  it needs a good waxing/detailing at this point.  When not in use the Land Cruiser is under covered parking. The heater and defrost works perfectly. all gauges work perfectly.  Tires are still new and just need cleaning.

The head liner is free from rips or tears. the seats have no tears or rips.  The front floor mats are also original as can be seen in the photos.  

All the rubber seals around all the glass is perfect see photos.

I added a new photo which shows how the rubber skirts on each fender are attached; each one is bolted on to a steel bar and the bar is bolted on to the underside of the vehicle and can be easily removed.  No holes in the outer body.  See the ninth photo.
