Helping my friend sell his car. he's not on the internet so i'm listing it here for him and will do my best to answer questions or get the answers from him.

He bought this Z several years ago from a gentleman that spent 20K dollars rebuilding/restoring various parts of this car.   He paid for the paint. custom stroker engine build. suspension. cooling. seats etc.   Basically did a lot of stuff to the car and then found out he had cancer and had to stop the project.

My friend bought the car from him and finished reassembling as much of it has he had parts to do.   Things like the windows. door panels. weatherstripping. door handles. emblems  etc.   Also. rebuilt the alternator. replaced the battery cables and fixed various wires and electrical issues. wired up the electric fans. and basically got most all of the electrical system working.

The car looks fantastic and runs. stops and steers great.   It has tremendous power and sound.   (i've put a couple of video's on youtube which you can probably find. search under "1971 Datsun 240Z" or just email me and i'll try to send the links although ebay removes them.    The videos show it idling and driving around the block.

The car seems very mechanically solid.   Like most cars of this vintage. there is more stuff to do if you want to finish it off.   Probably the two biggest issues are there are no bumpers and the dash is a weathered version of its former self and missing some of the original gauges.   The pictures really tell the story here and you can use your own judgement as to how much it bothers you.    Also. the paint looks great but does have a couple of flaws which are in the pics.   These are not very noticeable unless you know where they are and fixate on them but I wanted to make you aware.

Below is a spec sheet from the former owner to my friend.   I've just copied it here for your review.   Bare in mind some of the things on the list have been finished so its a little out of date but you'll see the highlites.
