Hey guys,
I purchased a Liverpool Fire Brigade vehicle in 1980, from the auctions. I paid 45 pounds. It was a huge van, like a mobile shop. I bought it as a non-runner and intended to scrap it because the whole rear end was aluminium.It had an "inline straight six engine"
A guy offered me 400 pounds for it ............which I gladly accepted, the next minute he revealed to me it was the brigade de-contamination unit, and the engine was a ROLLS ROYCE. Doh!

Regarding the ex Kent Fire Brigade Gamecock Fire Appliance I know the vehicle very well and I own the sister appliance which is fully operational and in pristine condition. If you ajust the price of your vehicle I may be interested in purchasing the vehicle but currently your price is ridiculously high. I am a former now retired Kent Firefighter and and I can advise you that your appliance has various problems and is in need of some serious body work restoration therefore give some thought to reducing your price to a realistic amount and then give me a call.
