UP FOR SALE IS MY MK 3 NON ROTOFLEX TRIUMPH GT6 WITH OVERDRIVE.

I FOUND THIS CAR 3 YEARS AGO. A FULL RESTORATION HAD BEEN STARTED IN 1990 WHICH INVOLVED MEDIA BLASTING . EW PANELS FITTED TO WHEEL ARCHES SILLS ETC. AND A PROTECTIVE EPOXY PRIMER COAT. AS I UNDERSTAND IT THE PREVIOUS OWNER PASSED AWAY DURING THIS PROCESS AND THE CAR SAT IN BITS FOR OVER 20 YEARS BEFORE I MANAGED TO BUY IT. IT HAD BEEN WAXOYLED OR SIMILAR EARLY IN ITS LIFE AND THIS HAD CERTAINLY WORKED WELL IN PROTECTING USUALLY VULNERABLE AREAS.

I HAVE SPENT OVER 2 YEARS BRINGING THIS CAR BACK TO ITS FORMER GLORY HAVING ADDED. AMONGST OTHER THINGS.  FULL REPLACEMENT FLOORS. EW STEEL FRONT AND QUARTER VALANCES TO THE EXTENSIVE LIST OF PANELWORK ALREADY CARRIED OUT AND REFURBISHED ALMOST EVERY PART AT A COST OF £1000'S. PARTICULAR ATTENTION WAS PAID TO THE PANEL FIT.

THE CHASSIS IS FULLY REFURBISHED AND REPAINTED AS PER FACTORY TO MATCH THE BODY COLOUR AND BUILT UP WITH ALL NEW BUSHES. SUSPENSION ETC.  THE CAR IS REPAINTED INSIDE. UTSIDE & UNDERNEATH IN 2PACK BASE COAT FOLLOWED BY 4 COATS OF LACQUER AND LOOKS FANTASTIC. THE UNDERSIDE LOOKS ALMOST AS GOOD AS THE OUTSIDE!

IT IS FINISHED IN BRITISH RACING GREEN WITH A TAN LEATHER INTERIOR PIPED WITH GREEN. THE CARPETS ARE TAN AND ALSO PIPED GREEN.

THE FRONT AND REAR BUMPERS ARE ORIGINAL ONES THAT I HAVE HAD RE CHROMED 

THIS IS AT ODDS WITH THE HERITAGE CERTIFICATE AS THE ORIGINAL COLOUR WAS EMERALD GREEN AND INTERIOR WAS BLACK. I MAKE NO EXCUSES FOR THE CHANGE. EMERALD GREEN . IN MY OPINION. WAS AN "IN YOUR FACE" 70'S COLOUR AND AN ALL BLACK INTERIOR IS TOO DEPRESSING IN MY OPINION.

EVERY AREA OF THE CAR HAS BEEN CHECKED. LEANED. EFURBISHED OR REPLACED AS NECESSARY. THE BRAKING SYSTEM FOR EXAMPLE IS ALL NEW. I. E MASTER CYLINDER. RONT CALIPERS. ISCS. EAR CYLINDERS. RAKE PIPES ETC. SOME VERY EXPENSIVE UPGRADES HAVE ALSO BEEN CARRIED OUT. THE CAR NOW RUNS ON HS6 SU CARBS. REAR SUSPENSION IS KONI GAS SHOCKS AND THE FRONT IS SITTING ON SPAX FULLY ADJUSTABLE UNITS. I. E HEIGHT AND RIDE ADJUSTABLE. THICKER ANTI ROLL BAR. ALLOY STEERING RACK MOUNTS. OIL PRESSURE GAUGE. nbsp;KENLOWE ELECTRIC FAN. LECTRONIC IGNITION. &N FILTERS. TWIN PIPE STAINLESS STEEL EXHAUST. ERFORMANCE MANIFOLD ETC/ ETC. THE ENGINE ALSO BENEFITS FROM A SPIN ON OIL FILTER CONVERSION.   IF I WANTED TO UPSET MYSELF I WOULD ADD UP THE COST!

 THE INTERIOR HAS ALSO HAD THE "FULL MONTY" ALL TRIM PANELS ARE NEW. nbsp;CARPETS ARE NEW. A NEW HEADLINING HAS BEEN FITTED AND THE SEATS HAVE BEEN REBUILT WITH NEW FOAMS AND RECOVERED WITH FULL LEATHER ( COMPLETE FULL LEATHER NOT JUST THE SEAT FRONTS) IN TAN WITH DARK GREEN PIPING TO MATCH THE EXTERIOR. THREE ADITIONAL INSTRUMENTS. AN OIL PRESSURE GAUGE. A CLOCK AND A AMMETER HAVE BEEN ADDED AND ARE MOUNTED IN A POD WHICH IS FIXED IN FRONT OF THE RADIO HOUSING. I DID NOT WANT TO START CUTTING EXTRA HOLES IN THE DASH SO IT IS EASILY REMOVED FOR YOU TO RELOCATE IN A POSITION OF YOUR CHOICE. I HAVE ALSO FITTED A NEW DASH TOP AS THE OLD ONE HAD DEVELOPED TWO SMALL CRACKS.

IT SITS ON ORIGINAL FACTORY OPTION 5J DUNLOP WHEELS WITH NEW TYRES AND ORIGINAL CHROME ON STEEL WHEEL CENTRES.

IT COMES WITH FULL MOT & TAX (TAX EXEMPT) A FULL HERITAGE CERTIFICATE THAT CONFIRMS ALL NUMBERS AS WELL AS THE ORIGINAL SUNDYM GLASS. A STACK OF BILLS AND RECEIPTS AND A CD OF AROUND 30 PICS OF THE RESTORATION.

THIS CAR DESERVES TO BE VIEWED. I AM ONLY SELLING DUE TO A BACK INJURY WHICH MAKES IT PAINFULL FOR ME TO GET IN AND OUT.
