1973 VOLVO P1800ES Automatic Green

1973 Volvo 1800ES with 91747 miles

Exterior: The body of the vehicle is straight. The paint looks good and it's not original paint. Looks like it was painted years ago. There are some bubbles showing as pictured. The tires have good tread. The window seals and such look like they were replaced not too long ago. The whole car itself looks like it had gone through restoration before

Interior: The interior upholstery is in great condition. No cracks on the dash and the seats were re-upholstered sometimes in the past. The odometer. speedometer and the water temperature gauges are non-functional. The aftermarket radio is currently not working. Also. there are a few rust spots in the interior. The main one is on the driver's side floor pan that's rusted through as pictured. There's also rust by the trunk

Engine and Drive Train: The engine is really sound. This is the second 1800ES I have driven and at least I have something to compare this one to. The transmission shifts fine too.

Now to the mystery of the salvage title. we do not know why the vehicle has a salvage title. We are guessing it's due to the fact that the vehicle sat for a while which brought about the rusty spots which is why the insurance company issued a salvage title for the vehicle. We currently have the salvage title.
