For Sale our beloved Camper "Doris"
She is a 1977 Devon 2 litre Bay window. A lovely van which is a good all round. and ready to be used. Being a two litre model with twin webbers she is quick. We are only selling her due to lack of use in recent years. As you can see from the photos the interior is in excellent condition with new cabinets and panels whilst still maintaining original two burner cooker and grill and electric sink. Two thirds rock and roll bed has been refurbished and is in excellent condition along with the two hammocks which have new fabric. The addition of a wardrobe in the rear makes this excellent for long weekends away. Interior lights works from a leisure battery with full split relay to keep it topped up. The cab area has had a respray in 2007 and is in good condition with original mats. seats and door cards. Mechanically she is in excellent condition with the following works completed. New engine and clutch 2007. New brake servo 2008New front beam 2009New twin webbers and fire extinguisher kit 2010. These are the main works I have had completed apart from regular two thousand mile services. ncluding new tyres. brakes etc.  All work has been completed by a VW Aircooled specialist based in Carshalton Surrey. Bodywork is good with the usual amount of attention required for a van of this age. although she has been dry winter stored for the last 5 years. Additional items included in the sale. Just Kampers winter cover. fresh and waste water containers. tow bar mounted cycle rack. DVD player. numerous spare parts.
