Originally imported as a dry desert car in original paint. full respray was done a few years ago and looks great. I don't think there's a mark in the paint anywhere on the car. The GT badges were added at this time. the car came as a standard Ranchero non GT with a 351 V8. Body is clean and straight. all body panels appear original. no signs of accident repair or excessive filler anywhere on the car. Floors and frame rails are original and quite impressive. no signs of rust or repairs. Underneath this car looks real good and solid. There are no issues in the body. paint or floors worth mentioning. all good here. Front and rear glass is good. chrome moldings. badges and bumpers are all very nice too. Door glass is good but the passenger glass needs to be guided into place when winding up. There is one key that fits the ignition and both door locks. Interior is nice and clean. bench seat is out of an XD Falcon but the original bench seat comes with the car. I didn't like it originally but it's comfortable and it kind of grows on you. Either way you can choose. Dash and gauges are in good original condition as is the dash pad. Door trims are good. carpet is nice. overall interior is clean and good driver quality. The two things I can pick on the interior are the rear sails that separate the door glass from the rear glass are a bit untidy and could use recovering and the panel behind the bench seat is a bit untidy as well. These are nothing major but worth mentioning. Mechanically the car is good with no issues. Engine is a 351 4V. has standard heads and exhaust. Edelbrock intake and carburettor. Engine is strong and runs well. Radiator has been recently redone and an electric thermos fan has been added to keep the temp down in the case of heavy traffic conditions. Very reliable original setup that doesn't overheat and won't let you down. Underneath the car there's lots of new bits. new shocks. front springs. rubbers. brakes. exhaust etc. have all been recently replaced making it very nice to drive.
