Vintage Chevy Truck not Maple Leaf

Restored to original condition with chassie extension. ow bar and blackout lights.   Has been stripped to bare chassie which was stripped to bare metal has been rust protected before painting. of the rear spring mounts were replaced or repaired all new shackle bushes and pins. iff seal replaced with new. wheel bearings and seals replaced. brake drums machined and new brake shoes. wheel cylinders new . nd master cylinder overhauled by Superstop (Mount Albert Vic) the 2 front spring main leaf new with new chackle pins and bushes original engine is a 235 and was running when removed (the plan was do this 1 up but use the other in the mean time) so it is fitted with a 216 which has new gaskets and welch plugs. tarter motor genarater and regulator rebuilt 6 volts (spares in the sale) new wiring loom. radiator cleaned out excellent condition (spare in the sale) runs well a bit smokey it has a 4 speed box (spare in the sale)very low geared new shaft seal and new universal joints the PTO was removed and is included.  

The cab was stripped rust parts cut out replaced with steel (both sides at the front of cab where the guards meet) new wind out window frame new door handles dash removed all gages & switches overhauled(spares inc) the bonnet and guards have been repaired and strengthened.  vacuum wiper overhauled spare parts with sale.

The tray is 12'3" long and 7'3" wide with spotted gum 35mm thick bolted to it the head board is removable and made of spotted gum 70 x 45 and spotted gum 140 x 19 with original design for the corners that are included but not on the truck.

Front tyres new. rear and spare good.

This truck is not finished some of the trim for grill is supplied some of the trim for bonnet is supplied internal trim in cab supplied wheels need paint the 235 motor to be restored and fitted. spare parts include what was listed and diff. axels. clutch. special sockets needed for screws. workshop manual. owners manual. he crank handle window and door parts any other parts or paperwork I have.

The original owner was R. H. McGorman from Balldale NSW his sign from the truck is included tare was 2. 2 and AG 7. 00 currently the tare is 2. 540 (extra weight with spotted gum timber. )

the engine has not been rebuilt it is original runs well a bit smoky full rego till Nov 17  roadworthy
