Tires rotated every other oil change. 20. New Sears Diehard battery installed this spring. 21. Front end alignment at Sears last month. 22. Current NYS inspection. Condition Notes • A few small/minor dings and scratches typical of the age. • One egg-shaped dent on the right passenger side door. no paint damage probably can be pushed out. I left it alone but mentioning for full disclosure. • Some scratches on the bumpers. front lower pax side. rear lower driver side. • Remote lock doesn't work -- I use the key to manually open all locks. This is the only defect. The repair is to buy a new lock controller for the door. • Two keys included. one is factory new and cost about $350. the other is original and in poor shape cosmetically but does work in both doors and ignition. • Good glass with dark factory tint on rear windows. • Mechanically everything works great. • Recent front-end alignment - runs true on the highway. no shakes or wobbles. • Clean interior. non-smoker. no smells. • Seats fair condition typical of all Toyota LC's. no rips/holes/stains. • All electronics and instrument panel/controls and lights work correctly. • Both AC units work very well. front and back. • Heater works perfectly. blows very hot. front and back. • Gas mileage still as good or better than factory specification. The Royal Purple synthetic oil and differential fluid make a big difference. at least 10% improvement and well worth the added cost over conventional oils. • No leaks of any kind. oil or coolant. • Vehicle is quiet and smooth on the highway. a real nice long distance cruiser. Overall a highly reliable. powerful. comfortable. and very fun vehicle. I have taken this truck on many long-distance rides. mainly to NJ and the shore points. and up to Plattsburgh and beyond many times. I don't hesitate to take this LC for a long ride. it has NEVER left me stranded. Even when running for prolonged periods in heavy. summer stop-and-go traffic on the NJ Parkway. the truck has never hiccuped once. and the thermostat never went above the average (midway point) temp or overheated.   Hate to part with it but this is my third vehicle. I bought it mainly to tow my boat. which I sold last year as part of a downsizing plan for personal reasons. Without question my favorite vehicle of all time and I have owned many including high end German but this is the best all things considered. Don't take my word for it: Recent engine tests for compression were 195. 190. 182. 185. 180. 180. 192 psi for cylinders 1 -- 8 respectively. (Toyota specs call for 192 psi target. 142 minimum. with no more than about 14 psi difference between each cylinder. ) My compression numbers are within spec and indicate a strong engine that has not been abused. and that has many years of life ahead of it. This truck has typical horsepower for the model year. it won't win any races. but it has good torque and towing capacity. When I pulled my boat I never even noticed or felt that it was pulling anything. it's like a big tractor engine. Papers: NYS title in my name. lien payoff letter from my local bank.
