SELLER REMARKS

This 1969 Oldsmobile 442 convertible combines iconic bodylines with serious speed. It's a real-deal code-4467 convertible. which makes it rare. And it has been upgraded to a 455 V8. which makes it unbeatable.



There are very few designs from this era that could say both "sporty" and "luxury" so well. This convertible has all the great dramatic curves. flared fenders. and a handsome front end that was instantly recognizable as being from GM's rocket division. It's coated in its factory-correct Crimson Red paint. which is the perfect way to highlight this droptop's dual sporty/premium image. All the details are correct on this car from the 442 badging. to the trim line that starts at the headlights and follows the Coke-bottle silhouette all the way to the taillights. And of course. Oldsmobile's color-matched Rallye wheel package is a must-have for a cool cruiser like this.



Beneath the black folding soft top is matching black interior. But this one has been upgraded for comfort and convenience. It starts with later model seats. including the front buckets that you can now power adjust to make all-day comfortable. You have all the right vintage controls for everything from the heat/defrost to the power convertible top all set in the wood paneling of the premium dashboard. And the radio has even been upgraded to a modern AM/FM digital tuner without losing that factory-like knob appearance. But as comfortable as this Olds is. it's also a performance machine. You're reminded of that with the moment you sit down behind the upgraded Grant three-spoke steering wheel. gaze at the full gauge panel w/tach. and rest your right hand on the floor-mounted shifter jetting from the center console.



Olds fans were a bit confused in '69 why GM didn't lift its displacement restrictions and allow the larger 455 cubic-inch V8 in the hot 442. This car rectifies that conundrum. and the extra large Olds big-block is under the hood for a more potent muscle car. The Rocket 455 V8 looks terrific in the engine bay with the chrome valve covers and air grabber. And of course. we all love to see their hallmark golden block radiating from the engine bay. Plus. there's an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor. This added power fires up with authority and makes a great rumble as it exits out of the dual exhaust (yup. 400+ cubic inches. four-barrel carburetor. and dual exhaust it lives up to the namesake of the 1969 Oldsmobile 4-4-2!) As usual with an Oldsmobile. no matter how much power it's putting down. it still has the luxury of all-day usability. This comes from features such as the power steering and front disc brakes. And the final upgrade is to a 200R4 four-speed automatic transmission with a highway-friendly overdrive.

We file all the necessary documents for export. deliver the car to a US port. secure it in containers and board an ocean carrier. We can land a vehicle to any port worldwide handling container traffic. We export cars regularly and are familiar with export requirements.
