I'm selling my wonderful. beloved 1976 BMW 2002 in Inka Color (bright orange) with 99. 500 miles. Asking $19. 50. Now. why would I do that and why so high? I've done about everything I wanted to it. and found another vintage car: a Jag XKE. For its age. the 2002 is in almost perfect condition mechanically and cosmetically both inside and out. You need do nothing to have a wonderful driving experience! It's my garaged daily driver.

Let's start with the exterior. It's a California car with essentially NO RUST! The paint is almost perfect – there are no obvious scratches. blemishes. fading. etc. It shines like a new car! Window and exterior trim are in very good shape. Small chip in windshield - repaired.

Now for the interior. It's just WOW! The dash has no cracks. The seats have no splits. tears. or sags. Seat belts work properly. Carpet is nice – and overlaid front and back with orange and black Coco Mats. Trunk. too. Car has a working Tii clock! Sport leather-covered steering wheel from a BMW 320i – just right for this car. Leather shift knob with BMW emblem. Vintage Becker stereo radio with two stealth door speakers and two period correct rear deck speakers.  Two stealth/removable cup holders. Headliner and visors are very nice. Everything works (rear window defroster. which works partially).  The Frigid-King air conditioner blows cold. Heating and defrost systems work properly. Included: original car manual. Chilton Repair Manual. Weber carb manual. and BMW shop manuals. Some extra parts. too.

Now for the mechanicals. The engine with its Weber 32/36 manual choke carburetor. mechanical distributor. and pointless ignition pulls strongly. It does not smoke. burn oil. or have leaks. It purrs like a tiger and loves to rev! This California car has been totally de-smogged (this is good!). It has a K&N air filter. The 4-speed tranny shifts crisply and solidly. Steering is good. Suspension has Bilstein shocks. Battery has been moved to the trunk (this is good for weight distribution!). Shod with almost new Michelin Defender tires.

All in all. this is a terrific 2002!  You won't be disappointed or have to do anything to have a great ride! I work hard to earn and maintain my 100% eBay rating by selling only quality items. using actual photos. accurate descriptions. and proper packaging and prompt shipping.  Let me know of any questions.
