1969 JAGUAR E TYPE 4.2 MANUAL WITH OVERDRIVE. HERITAGE CERTIFICATES

For sale is my lovely 1969 4. 2 E Type 2+2. It has a manual box with rare overdrive. "Vicarage" power steering rack and central locking. (yes really! so no more fiddling with keys and scratching paintwork. (Doors can be opened by keys as well). Central locking is not visible so the "purists" won't even know! A modern CD player and "Parrot" bluetooth system for your phone are the only other non standard additions.
I bought the car last year when I retired early as I had always wanted one. It is everything I expected and more. Only for sale as I want a convertible. The car is advertised elsewhere so may be removed at any time from this auction. Mileage will go up slightly as we are attending classic car shows over the next couple of week ends.
I have the Heritage Certificates for the car which was manufactured on the 13th November 1969 as a LHD automatic. It was despatched to the USA on the 12th January 1970 and luckily ended up in the dry state of Florida. I have the validated registration card from the Dept of Motor Vehicles for the State of California. receipts from it's time overseas and even some pictures!The car returned to UK in March 2000 and was re registered as shown (1969). There are also pics of it with UK reg and still LHD prior to conversion. A manual gearbox and overdrive were fitted (receipts for over £2000). along with a new "Vicarage" steering rack. It was converted to RHD with new dash etc. Interior was re trimmed in original dark blue leather along with new headlining etc. The car is fitted with chrome wire wheels including the spare.
So there we have it. An appreciating classic with Heritage Certificates. lots of history -  receipts. pictures. every MOT and tax disc since 2000 when it returned to UK. Also has an agreed JEC insurance value of £30k. although I am not asking anywhere near that. Up to you to bid to the reserve. The car will not be released until payment has been paid/cleared. No paypal unless you pay the fees. A non refundable payment of £100 to be made through paypal by the winning bidder.
