When was the last time you saw a 1948 Buick Super Sedanette? Not only is this the special kind of body you rarely see at the car shows. but also it's exactly how you want a classic of this caliber survivor exterior. comfortable restored interior. and a Fireball straight-eight under the hood.


If that Verde Green paint isn't original. you could have fooled us. The deep green is complete and has the kind of luster that resonates with the era. The design of this "Sedanette" coupe is arguably one of the best to come out of the '40s. It perfectly blends classic design elements with the new era of streamlined cars. The long front fender line extends through the door sheetmetal until it meets with the rear wheel arch that mimics the fastback roofline. You wouldn't be able to enjoy this interesting silhouette if this Buick had not been cared for so well for the last seven decades. The bumpers look great with just the right amount of patina to go with the paintwork. The trim is complete everywhere from the Buick Eight badge up front to the factory scalloped side rear mini-reflector that looks like a custom touch. Even the factory wheel covers are still in place inside the classic whitewall tires. It is truly an all-around impressive presentation.


A car like this deserved to be driven. That's why all the right interior pieces were upgraded for you to enjoy your time on the road. The seats. door panels. headliner. and carpeting appear to have been replaced at some point. because let's face it. those materials were never built to last as long s the metal. Instead everything looks and feels quite correct. while not distracting from the 1940s feel. Beyond that are clear and correct gauges set in an original art deco dashboard.


Remember. Buick Supers from this era had their hoods pivot and raise on both the passenger's and driver's side. which is always something that draws attention at car shows. Once the crowds start to gather. they'll marvel at the motor's original condition. including the two-barrel carb and oil bath air cleaner. The engine has been given a recent respray. that way everyone can recognize the "Fireball" graphic the 248 cubic-inch straight-eight. With all this originality. you'll marvel how easily it fires up and how smooth the motor feels going down the road. The three-on-the-tree manual transmission is easy to operate and gives you that great vintage feeling. Once we have received the funds. we will prepare the car for international shipment through one of our approved land and ocean carriers. We file all the necessary documents for export. deliver the car to a US port. secure it in containers and board an ocean carrier. We can land a vehicle to any port worldwide handling container traffic. We export cars regularly and are familiar with export requirements. You. or your agent. are responsible for Custom clearing the vehicle and registration in your own country.
