1969 Morris Minor Traveller
This little Morris comes with a very interesting history and is quite a famous little car. Its restoration in 2003 and 2004 was carried out and documented in classic car marts "The Lost Traveller" which spanned accross many issues culminating in the owner touring Ireland. nbsp;The articles make good reading and also explain all works carried out on the car. the car comes with 14 Issues of classic car mart with it featured and an unworn "The Lost Traveller T shirt" as sold by Classic Car Mart.
The Morris is good in the body with no rust or rot either to the paintwork or underside of the car which has been Waxoyled to preserve it and protect it from the elements.
The cars wood was repaired where required in 2004 and finished. since been at WRCC we have re stripped it and treated with Cuprinol. finished with 4 coats of Danish Oil. The wood is aged nicely and in overall good condition.
The Travellers gold seal engine is very strong and runs well making for easy driving. The cars gearbox is very positive and changes well through gears the rest of the transmission is quiet and as it should be.
The braking system has just been overhauled and stops the car well as it benefits from having Servo assistance.
The Minor also benefits from having an alternator.
Interior wise the car is also very good. with no rips or tears to the seats and a complimenting green carpet set which is also in good condition.
Overall the car is in nice. clean and solid condition which can be enjoyed and relied upon for many years to come. nbsp;
The car will also be serviced before leaving us and offered with a 3 month limited warranty.
We would suggest that the car is viewed in our Halifax showroom. It can also be transported nationally at a pre agreed rate.
All major Credit/Debit cars are accepted.
Independent classic car finance can also be arranged.
