MGTF 160 bhp Mint 2002/3 only 27,500 mls FSH

Our stunning sports cabriolet MGTF 160 bhp model. 1st regd 19/12/02 - so its really a 2003 model 

Looking for decent Yank V8 - no 6 cylinder motors - may consider running project - older the better. or a DECENT motorhome - may consider adding in our MINT condition BMW Trike for a total deal upto £11. 95.

1st off this is NOT the cheap underpowered version. nor has it seen any serious use - this is The Top of The Range Model with highest horsepower. Full Sports Pack 2 performace/chassis upgrades and options. These models are totally mechaincaly upgraded from standard/cheaper models - even the wheels and tyres are a different spec/size.  

Also included is the factory hardtop worh £400 (these cost over £1300. 00 new).

 The standard spec sheet is available and shown on here as a picture - it's massive. and it's literally been unused since Oct last year - my hubby and kids own too many other toys so would not mind a part-project as px.

I bought for myself over a year ago - but. with us having too many other vehicle to use I did just over 1200 miles (1 other car did only 3 miles in 2 years. ) - and owes me over £5400 to date!

May 2014 - NEW MOT until May 2014. 2 x New front tyres and 4-wheel alignment - at cost £300. 00

This like anything else in life - you only get what you pay for and this is worth every penny - and with this mileage and condition these normally retail with specialist Dealers at £6995!

Genuine 160bhp model. 26500 miles+ using every other day. 1800cc VVC engine. 5-speed manual gearbox. Factory fitted hardtop.

May 2012: 

£200 spent on mot/parts. April 2012 plus New Yuasa battery £110. 00. New rear brake caliper and a new steering wheel electrics/switch.

2 x new rear Goodyear Eagle GRD2 tyres (these are the best handling tyres for this car and nearly impossible to get now) with less than 800 miles on them.

New window regulator motor for n/s in May 2010 at cost of £404. 00.

June 2013: 

2 x New front tyres & wheel alignment £240 - unused since

Full documented service history (mostly with same garage) 6 x FULL services and 2 x Small services - literally every year @ +/-3ooo miles/year. Was bought new by 71 year old Haulage company owner and only sold in mid 2010 due to ill health.

Factory extras: front fog lamps. Passenger airbag. Hardtop with heated rear window. Exterior colour coded paintwork. Metallic paint. Kenwood head unit & 6 disc cd changer - cost £1905. 00 plus Wind Deflector - cost  another £190. 00. X-power GREY colour. Half leather interior. Full sport & handling package including 304mm front brake discs and MG racing callipers. Alarm. central locking etc etc and probably more I've forgotten.

Great example of a standard and un-abused roadster.

With the New tyres front and rear it drives like it's on rails - much. much better than other I test drove before buying this one.
