1972 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Super Beetle

Classic Era Motors is pleased to offer this 1972 VW Super Beetle with a 4 speed transmission. beautiful two tone exterior and interior.   We purchased this VW in early 2016 in very good mechanical condition with an extremely solid rust free body and nice clean interior.   The odometer shows just under 95. 00 miles. however. the title is PA mileage exempt.    We decided to have some fun and enhance the VW with a significant tasteful cosmetic restoration.   Over 450 hours later. the completed beetle exterior presents in excellent condition from the new two stage paint featuring a two tone exterior of classic white and Subaru WRX blue.   The combination looks great together and is very eye catching.   New parts on the Beetle include front struts. new Coker white wall tires. window regulators. chrome antenna. wing seals & glass. fender beading. Billet aluminum running boards. side moldings. window scrapers. fog lights. EMPI hubcaps. side mirrors and more.    The car also has VW logo projection lights that are discretely placed under the running boards to shine on the ground when the door opens.   The car runs. drives and shifts as it should.   We encourage interested buyers to visit our shop to inspect the vehicle; the photos do not do justice to the quality of the car.

Terms of Sale

Payment:

A $750 deposit via PayPal is due within 24 hours of the end of the auction. The remaining balance must be paid in full before the vehicle leaves our premises. If no contact is made with the buyer within 24 hours of the end of auction we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle or make a second chance offer to another buyer. Payment methods we accept are certified check. cash in person. or funds transfer from a financial institution.   Certified checks must clear before vehicle departs our premises. All PA residents are subject to state tax. title. license. and registration fees. Out of state buyers are responsible for taxes and fees in the state which they reside in.

Inspection:

Every effort has been made to accurately and fairly describe this vehicle to you.   Classic Era Motors has tried to disclose all information known about this vehicle for auction.   Please be advised that used vehicles will have typical scratches and dings inherent for their year and mechanical parts are subject to fail.   Classic Era welcomes and recommends a buyer's inspection.   If you plan to have a buyers inspection. please make sure you inspect the vehicle prior to the auction ending.   Buyer is responsible for any inspection charges and fees.

Shipping and delivery:

The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges.   We will assist the buyer with finding a shipping company. We assume no responsibility for damages incurred after leaving our premises. If the vehicle is going to be shipped. full payment must be received before the vehicle is delivered to the shipping company.

We reserve the right to end the auction at any time if the vehicle is no longer for sale. Vehicle is for sale at a brick and mortar dealership.
