Pampered 1982 Toyota 4x4 Pickup

Here's a rare cream puff of a 1982 toyota pickup with factory power steering in very good condition. Not many were shipped by Toyota to the USA in the 80's. First owner had the truck in North Carolina until 2015.   The second owner owned a toyota only repair shop. and I am the third owner.

Truck has seen little. if any. off road activity. Body is excellent and has been gone over with a fine tooth comb.   It has no rust and a fresh paint job.   Also has a spray in bed liner. Brand new BF Goodrich KO2 All terrain tires (bought last week) from discount tire with life time free rotating and balancing. Newer brakes.   Still all factory glass. (no cracks or chips).  

Power steering makes this Cruiser a pleasure to drive.  The 22R has very good power and the truck runs and handles among the best of them. It's smooth and quiet.  She shifts through all gears smoothly.  Truck is the last year of the 4 speed with 3. 90  ring and pinion and drives great.   No hesitation at all to take it down the interstate or through town. No issues at all with transfer case either as 4WD Hi and Low work perfectly. Doesn't rattle. squeak or vibrate going down the road. The best part of the truck is the factory analog am/fm stereo still installed. The truck really needs nothing to be enjoyed daily. Very clean truck that runs great.

Unlike pickups from this era. this truck has been meticulously cared for and maintained by previous owners who also kept it all factory.  Newer shocks and exhaust system has been replaced with a factory style replacement.  The seats have new upholstery and the headliner is in great shape.  Truck has the original mats including seat surrounds.   The factory jack and maintenance records are included along with the window sticker. owners manual. factory warranty information and all other documentation associated with the truck. Just to add. the only thing in non-working order on the truck is the fuel level gauge.   I have talked with a couple people who know these trucks and am told it is almost always a loose ground at the fuel sending unit when that happens.   I will try to look into this before auction ends.   Otherwise everything works as it should.   All other gauges. wipers. lights. horn. washer fluid. hubs. 4wd. tailgate. heat. etc.   truck does not leak. doors. and tailgate open and close like new.  

Also. this IS a factory AC truck according to the window sticker; however for whatever reason it was never installed.   the wiring connectors under the dash still have factory tape on them.   I DO have a full factory AC system for the truck including lines and adapter to update to r134a.  I will include with sale and the new owner can install or not at his discretion.
