Beautiful and Original and Ambassador 'Cross Country' Wagon. Time-Warp original ConditionI have been told by Rambler officionados that it is the only 'Cross Country' wagon of this year in Australia. Original 327 V8 motor. Was originally 4 barrel Hi Po but now with Holley 2 barrel carby.
Professionally tuned and runs beautifully.  Good Power BrakesPower Steering. New BatteryOriginal interior in very good condition. Originally had a dickey seat in rear footwell to seat 7 people. Original Front Bucket seats. Original Chrome Roof Racks in excellent conditionAll Bumpers and Chromework is excellent. Rear Door is huge with electric tailgate window. Drives beautifully. PERFECT CRUISING MACHINE or put the Surfboards on and head for the beach. Never fails to get looks when I used on permit. I got a permit and drove it over 100k's home in rush hour traffic - no dramas whatsoever. I had people stop and toot the horn at the sight of this vehicle and one person asked me for my details re selling it!!Crying out to be used on either Historic rego or full rego.
Original Metallic green paint. Few minor paint blemishes on Bonnet and Wiper panel in Primer but does ot detract from the visual delight of this vehicle. New tyres on chromies with a COMPLETE SET of spare chromite she with good rubber!New exhaust system with Side exhausts -  JUST BEAUTIFUL and AWESOME V8 BURBLE - not muted like so many modern ones.
PREVIOUS HISTORYThis vehicle was from California and its previous owner was a VIETNAM VET who worked for PAN AM. (Has ID details on Keys)Judging  from its condition is was loved and cared for.

REASON FOR SELLINGI bought this beautiful and rare imported AMC Ambassador 'Cross Country' Wagon to pull my period 60's Caravan which is under restoration. Sadly my wife does not like LHD and finds it too long!! Fair Dinkum!! So it has to go- tho it was a tough choice. get what I mean??
