 This is possibly the best and most original 1966 Rambler Ambassador 990 you will ever find. If you are looking for a an exceptional car to enjoy cruising it would be hard to find better
Ambassador was the top of the line Rambler AMC product in 66 comes with the economical and reliable 232 engine automatic. power steering. AM radio. door mirrors. heater. tinted windows etc. Still has its bias ply tires. Chrome is excellent
The body is straight as a die. and duco  is original and is in nice condition. perfect rust free body. interior is almost showroom condition. Carpets are a deep pile lush and excellent condition. Original spare still in boot.
This car has an amazing 24000 miles which was documented by the original owner.

The glove box contains owners manual. ccessories manual. Rare AMC build Sheet. eceipts. early NY road maps etc and a small book in which original owner Charles Doe recorded every gallon of fuel he put into the car with dates and mileage. The small book also mentioned a tractor he fueled as well. so I assume he was a farmer
First entry in his book 20/5/1966 purchased 10 gallons cost $2. 70 mileage 40 Last entry 11/4/1987 purchased 5. 9 gallons mileage 21018 cost $5. 00
Possibly the most documented AMC you could find
Also in the glove box is a pair of Mr Does sun glasses and a picture of him and his wife. Mr Doe passed away and willed the car to an elderly friend Herman Evans who did not use the car.

I purchased the car from Mr Evans in 2007
The car was purchased new in Elmerto NJ. Dealers metal name plate is still attached to the boot. ( Kennar Rambler New Jersey)
This is one of the most flawless of any stock antique car that I have ever seen.
