Up for your Consideration Complete Ground Up Chevy 1955 210 Wagon. Sorry the pics are not that great but will stake my 15 years and 100% feedback on the car.
This is a one family owned car. my uncle bought this new in Ca in 55. He was stationed in the air force. in 1972 he retired and moved to Id. he passed on in 1992 and was sold to my dad his brother. Car was still original in 92 but was tired and need some help. so my dad started doing a few things. Original color was a dark green. dad changed it to blue and white. I believe is a original V8 car. he took the engine out and put another one and drove like that until 2009. Thats when i bought from my mom for a real price. was not given to me. Car was worked on now and then. had 2 other projects going. I did the interior in 2010. nothing extreme money was tight. so the interior thats in the car now was new in 2010.
Now the hard part. trying to explain all that has been done. lol
All stainless and chrome is original to car. bumpers rechromed. stainless polished. I will tell u the stainless on this car is perfect. had a professional company do the polish and it is amazing. The grill. surround and door handles are new from Danchuk. Body is a original Ca car and has never been wrecked or any rust. perfect for a total restoration. All body parts are original to car. even the sun visor which is very rare. This car was strip to a bare shell and frame. almost every component on this car is NEW. Body. frame. trans housing plus the chrome and stainless are basically the only used parts.
Frame was striped and repainted but not show quality. i didn't want a trailer queen. something i could enjoy but not worry about getting dirty. if that makes since.
All suspension front and rear are all new. i used Heidt's front tubular a-arms with coil overs with sway bar. Rear is a Heidt's triangular 4 link with a ford rear end with 355 gears with adj coil overs. All new 4 wheel disc brakes. with all new lines and hoses. All new fuel system from fuel pump. new lines and gas tank with all new straps. 55 has been completely rewired from headlights to tail lights. complete new harness from Danchuk. Most new parts came from them. great quality but not cheap. 55 has all new glass except windshield with 30% smoke gray tint. When glass was done of course all new seals. nbsp;weatherstripping. nbsp;channels and felts. New tires and wheels. 18 in the rear - 17's on the front. i believe the fronts are 8 in wide rears are 10in wide. Has complete new steering. i changed the 605 box to the new 500 series. big difference. Has complete new column and steering wheel. I did it steering system. Has complete new AC. Vintage air system. i just had it charged and tested for leaks. NONE. blows between 45-50 degreesHas all new power window system. front doors only but prewired for the rear.  I used a very unique system for the power windows. each front door has its own actuator. U use the original window crank . lift up or lift down. works perfect and u have no buttons showing for a very clean original look. cost twice as much as a normal power system. Exhaust is new from headers. mufflers to tailpipes. 2 1/2 in exhaust. great sound. Heater works perfect with new hoses and heater core. A lot of the emblems and scripts are original but all are perfect. Rear taillights and inside dome lights are led. so very bright. Every nut or bolt that was removed were replaced with all new. any ground straps. you name it i replaced everything with new. All weather strips and seals are new. Does have a 2in drop all around. Im sure i will forget so much stuff so ask many questions.
The power plant is a 454 alum head crate motor form GM. motor does have a 2 year 50000 mile warranty and i have the receipt. I was told any GM dealer can service or replace motor if any failures occur. I would say around 470hp. perfect for cruising. this 55 has never been abused or raced at all. but has such a great rumble. Was bought june of this year 2016. I was running a different rebuilt 454 with no miles but when car was finished in jan of 2016 it spun a cam bearing in 15 miles . thats why i bought a new motor with warranty. Has MSD ignition and diet. all new. Uses a 770 holly avenger carb. was sent to a place in Ca to have tested and set up for my car. bolted it on. PERFECT have receipt. Has a 4in alum radiator with twin cooling fans plus the trans cooler. all is new. Trans is a turbo 400 that has been rebuilt with no issues. shifts perfect. Also this car no leaks at this time. been driven 100 miles or so. perfect.
On the interior. i installed a Dakota Digital dash and clock. i tried to show some pics of the interior. Great shape no rips. tears or any stains. non smoker.  Everything functions as it should. Turn signals cancel and all lights work. Lot of chrome and stainless in the interior plus the tissue holder. amazing dash. If u have questions please ask. nbsp;I'm old and retired and forget stuff. lol
If u can tell by the pics. door fitment and seams are perfect. rear tail gate works perfect.
This 55 has a lazer perfect body. paint is amazing. like glass. when u can see your reflection in white paint. pretty darn good. I guess the best way to sum up this car. Barret Jackson # 1 car. paint. body and engine compartment. Interior is super but i would call it Mecum quality if that makes since. If u want a trailer queen. the frame would not be to hard to finish that way. Like i said earlier. clean but driver quality. i wanted to enjoy the car. There are 2 little things that need attention. Dakota dash flickers a little bit. what i was told by them and other people who run this system. my coil is to close to the dist.  relocate coil and will be fine. I did have a new headliner put in a couple years ago by a longtime interior guy. did a great job but he got sick during the install and didn't get the rear corners stretched properly. thats the only faults of the car.
I have almost all receipts for this restoration. 3 folders plus a sack full.

If u need help in shipping. i have used a man for 15 years with no issues. Don't write and want to know how much it will cost. if the buyer needs help i can provide a great shipper.
Im sure people will offer trades as usual. only 4 cars i would take partial trade plus cash. 05-06 Chevy SSR low mile 5 speed. nbsp;original or restored to new corvair or SRT-8 Charger or Challenger and Viper late model
Deposit is due with in 24 hrs . full payment due in 7 days.
I have been on here for 15 years with a perfect feedback. i have sold many cars on and off eBay with never a issue. Thank u for looking and your interest.
