It don't get any better then this. Very Nice original 1986 "TRUE" SS Monte Carlo. This SS has the L69. 305ci. 5. 0L High Output V8 engine only the REAL SS's came with this engine. no other engine with the SS.   These cars are very rare and near impossible to find in this kind of condition.  This car has 79K original miles. Still has the original exhaust. original shocks. original headlights. original hoses. original floor mats. It is ready for the new owner to drive it home.   Everything on the car works and the Air conditioning blows nice and cold. Car starts right up and drives very nice and runs GREAT.   The interior on the car is just about perfect. The dash is very nice with NO cracks. No stains or tears anywhere. Carpet is perfect. Still has very nice original GM floor mats.  Headliner is perfect.  I would call it absolutely as close to perfect as you will find. I would rate it as 9. 5 All the jambs are still original paint.  The stripes look like new with no tears or damage. The aluminum wheels have no damage or curb rash but the natural aluminum wheel lips are PERFECT.  Check out our link at GatewayAutoBrokers dot net. Call Bernie at three-one-four five-six-eight-six-zero-two-one I PERSONALLY guarantee you will like this car or you don't "YOU DON'T HAVE TO BUY IT". I will also have it completely detailed and cleaned before you take delivery of this true collectors car. This car has had no paint work. no body work. SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY.
The only way to tell a true 4th Generation (1983 - 1988) Monte Carlo SS from a non-SS by the VIN alone is to look at the 8th digit of the VIN. This is the Engine Code. In 1983. that digit MUST be a '7' for the car to be a true SS. For 1984 through 1988 models. the 8th digit MUST be a 'G'. This signifies the car came with the L69. 305ci. 5. 0L High Output V8 engine. SSs came with no other engine.
