This M813A1 was built in 1969 by Kaiser-Jeep and served in the Army until the early 2000's where it was turned over to the State of Texas. The truck underwent repaint. MWO. and full servicing before changing hands in 2001 where it was prepped for duty carying water for fighting brush fires. The Marlin VFD serviced it regularly until it was turned in in 2014.  The truck is in excellent condition with no rust or major issues. the VFD took great care of it.
The truck shows  7642 Miles / 322 Hours - origional.  The truck starts instantly. drives great. and stops quick. The engine runs strong and has been the best running Cummins 250 I've had in years.  When I got her I changed the fuel filter and replaced the batteries and she came to life. The heater blows air. the seats are in fair condition. and the tires are between 60-90% tread (no spare). There is a bad ground in the harness somewhere that affects the temp gauge. headlights. and front right blinker otherwise all the lights works. The cab could use new glass. some are cracked and the passenger door window is missing. I will include a NEW driver side door glass assembly with this vehicle. The PTO engages and operates as it should. the shaft was removed by the VFD for insurance/safety reasons (standard thing) so the winch operation is untested. Overall the truck is in amazing shape for it's age!
