FORD CORTINA MK1 2 DOOR ESTATE V8 HOTROD

I have for sale my ford Cortina mk1 estate. this has been owned and cherished by myself for the last 4 + years. it is the ONLY mk1 Cortina 2 door estate on the road in the uk. Its been shown many many times and won trophies over the years. Its been built to the highest possible standard and looks factory finish. all panel gaps. body lines e. t. c. are all perfect. The car has been modified in the engine department too. its fitted with a fully rebuilt rover 3500cc v8. that has been fitted with an high lift camshaft. this is mated to a bmw auto box. that has overdrive. The car starts. runs and drives as you would expect . . . superb .    . it needs nothing . . . only driving and enjoying !  . . . its taxed (this is free as its and historic vehicle). and it passed its mot last month with flying colours. So all in all ready to drive away and take you anywhere !

Front end has been fitted with coil over kits. nti roll bar system

Rear end is 2. 8i capri leaf springs with shock absorber conversion

AXLE

English type fitted with escort rs2000 3. 54 ratio diff

Brakes

Front is 3. 0 capri discs and calipers

Rear has been converted using Granada calipers. and escort discs

Remote servo fitted to the under wing area

STEERING

Capri 3. 0 steering rack

Modified Cortina mk1 steering colum

Wheels

Front : 5j x 15"

Rear  : 6j x 15"

Speedo don't work. I always use a sat nav

MINOR body imperfections as shown in the pics

Exhaust touches the body slightly when riding over speed bumps . . . . . bl@@dly thing !
