2004 MAZDA TRIBUTE LX

Almost 72. 00 miles.

Original miles. that's very low for this vehicle!


This is my vehicle.
I purchased it almost 6 years ago. at my local Mazda Dealership.
 Star Mazda. in Glendale. California.


I'm the 2nd owner. First. owner. took meticulous care of it.
 There's a record of his maintenance. all done at dealer.
He filled in maintenance on the owners manual.


It had about 42. 00 miles on it. when I purchased it.

Mazda inspected it and did anything necessary to get it to Mazda standards.
They did the brakes and 4 new tires.

It was Mazda Certified. And. was eligible for the Mazda extended warranty. which I purchased.
It was good for 4 years. It has expired. But. I can see if it can be extended. if you want.
They'd sent me paperwork to extend it. but I didn't need it.
I replaced something to do w/ a/c that the dealer said it needed. It's been a great vehicle.

This was my vehicle. I'm not a car re-seller or dealership. This is my first vehicle to list on eBay.

My notes:
There's some damage to right rear bumper. See pictures.
Oops. I backed into a cement pole in a parking garage.
There's a scratch along right side. looks like a key scrape. but I don't know how that happened.
  And a few general marks. here & there.
Cloth interior covering was a little loose on interior door.
The carpet and general interior will need a good detailing.

nIt's been running fine for me.
 NOTE: There's a small hole in one of the power steering hoses.
I got a new battery. last month (September) at Firestone.
They could not detect the hole.
They wanted to put some kind of ultra violet light detector & have me drive for 100 miles and come back.
But. I'm planning on moving. Which is why I'm selling it.
I spoke to two other really good mechanics.
One said. if it's the pressure hose. it could be up to $200 complete. with genuine Mazda parts/hose.
If it's just one of the other hoses it'd be $90 total.
It runs fine. Just noisy when you turn wheel. especially. when parallel parking.
Does not affect the drive.

Another mechanic. said. since I'm selling it. best to just sell as is.
If you are handy or know someone. maybe you'll want to do the work.
Other thing. the fluids are due to be flushed. And. they just said to replace air filter.

The tires have been great. I never even had a flat tire. in all time I had it.
I'm not sure how long tires last for. So. it might be time for you to do tires and brakes soon.


I'm moving out of California. Can't take it with me.
I'm selling everything I have. to get down to one suitcase!

Was great. bought a lot of Ikea. used. assembled Ikea furniture and everything always fit.
