CLASSIC 1956 VW BEACH BUGGY -
 
This beach buggy is engineer built. not bits and bobs thrown together in a garden shed. It is in excellent condition and took 5 years to complete. The work was completed by 2011. Its been tastefully modified to fit in with driving demands. brakes. suspension etc.  

Its not really been used much since completion.
 
Everything is as good as it should be.  
 
Its been rebuilt with mainly new parts where practical. It goes very well and very much looks the part. in its "candy apple red". Any inspection invited.
 
Photos from before and during restoration are present. As is a copy of the original log book.
 
12 Months MOT & 12 Months Tax both exempt. nbsp; but tested anyway to prove the beach buggy's integrity.  
 
Insurance £150. 00 just put the petrol in and drive.
 
"As stated Its TAX & MOT exempt".
 
The number plate as been valued at over £1700 and is defiantly transferable. TLJ 124. Do the Maths? You could sell the plate! "DVLC will give you a free plate the same year as the Beach Buggy so it won't loose it's historical charm". There is a 80. 00 admin charges from DVLC but in the scale of things? 
 
It also won ' best beach buggy ' at the VW buggy show (summer fest Nottingham) a few years ago.

Custom made inlet manifold 1 1/2 su carb
009 distributor
Adjustable front beam
Front disc brakes. New callipers
New rear brakes
Copper brake pipes
New brake master cylinder
Metro steering column and switches
7 x 15 ( front ) Wolfrace alloys / 8. 5 x 15 ( rear ) plenty of tread.  
Its also had new floor pans. new petrol tank and all new wiring ( done properly )
The buggy is easily maintained' parts are cheap & it takes 1/2hr to take the engine out!
