2002 Ford Mustang S281 SC

For sale is a 2002 Ford Mustang Saleen. This car is numbered 197. It was purchased in 2008 and has been adult driven and garaged since then. The car is currently located in SE Ohio. Below is an itemized list of positives and negatives about the vehicle. Local buyers are encouraged to see the car in person and take a test drive. if desired. Positives
Engine. clutch. throw out bearing and pressure plate were replaced by Don Wood Ford in Athens. Ohio when I purchased the vehicle. This was at approximately 40. 00 miles. The car retains the original Saleen supercharger. The original block is available to be included in the sale at no extra charge. It is currently in a shipping container.
The car has been fitted with an "Extreme" style rear valance and has Magnaflow center exhaust. The original valance is available to be included in the sale at no extra charge.
Car has an aftermarket cold air intake.
Car has low mileage Continental tires on it.  
Car has 4 new brake pads.
Car starts. idles. and runs without issue. No noise or leaks in the engine of any kind.  
Negatives
The paint on the car has several issues. There is a large chip (and a few small ones) on the front bumper. of which I have included a picture. These show up as black on the car. There are also some small white spots on the door and quarter panel that appear to be the result of a poor touch up job. I attempted to take a picture of these. but they did not show up well once I uploaded them. My apologies for that. The bumper fitment is actually pretty good for a Saleen. but it not as perfect as a factory Ford Mustang. The car is fine from 10 feet. but upon closer inspection you would notice these blemishes.  
The bushings on the front sway bar are worn and will occasionally make a noise.
Rear driver's side tire will leak out over time.  
Driver's seat is OK. but the leather does have some cracking. which is typical of a car of this age.
The finish on the wheels are OK. but are not of show quality.  
In summary. this is a solid. driver quality Mustang. We own several Mustangs as you can see in the picture and this one has been well maintained since our purchase. This is not a show vehicle in any sense. but would be a great car to drive "as is" or would be a great platform for custom modifications.
